Speed, latency, the type of die on the ram stick, ability to manually tune them for more speed and lower latency, some ppl prefer sticks with just a really good xmp out the box, voltages into account sometimes if you don’t plan to use the pc in a cool environment,
Just depends on the workload, gaming dual rank, dual channel, but only two sticks is the way to go, the benefits of 4 sticks but with the overclock ability and ease of two sticks!
Just lots of different case by case needs but generally a really good kit can fit them all.
