#best obs settings for good quality and low file size?

That’s not realistic if you want high fps videos
Performance, quality, or filesize. You can only have two
Try recording 1080p 60 FPS with VBR at around 50000 kbps, and enable psycho visual tuning and look ahead
Play with the settings and it should help
i mean its not impossible to do
my 15 mins 720p240 fps 13cqp p4 video is 13gb
it can be 10gb or less with higher cqp
tbf that’s 720p
and it’s only 240
which may suite some people fine
240 is good enough with igmb
you dont need more
having more fps is more important so
Recording 300 fps vs 600 fps doesn’t have a huge change in performance for me
probably different with smth like bw or hcf
same for me
i get like 1600-1700 while recording 240
having more fps is more important so
and 1000-1100 while reocrding 960
what did you mean when you said that
but this is without vape
more fps = smoother motion blur i meant
500-600 is good enough but when you get 1k above its a lot smoother
he asked mine not yours @quaint sinew
Or you can record H265 and get twice as good quality at half the size of H264. It's even easier to record, atleast on AMD cards
but you are most probably going to have to re-encode video if you are going to do some heavy editing to it. Vegas Pro does not play well with H265
not sure how new ones do
DaVinci Resolve on the other hand works perfectly with H265 content
And last time i used premiere it also worked fine
yes it is
@left bobcat is this solved?
