#is normal that blur by tekno kills quality this much?

render in 60 fps
use 13 cqp while recording
you can also try internal shaders with 2x render res
it will drop fps but you will get sharper and smoother edges
why 2400 fps
960 is more than enough
why do you use small gui
nah
you need to use normal gui
small gui hotbar has like 10 pixels
in 720p
this is normal gui 720p
isnt it
this one is small
so the point is
honestly no one is gonna focus on the hud depending on the gamemode
your hotbar has too low amount of pixels
also 1080p normal and 720p small gui isnt same in size
1280x720 has smol scaling
720p small is like 1440p normal
yea
its like your pp
good
render quality has nothing to do with gui size but i wouldnt use small gui
it did for me in 720p recording
this server is a liar
use 13 cqp
and high profile
and you can try the internal shaders thing
for yearsssss
i have 1080p monitor but i still use 720p in minecraft
why is that bad
but like not as much as if you played in 1440p
in 2x res scale
1.5x is also good
gives a bit more fps
disable anti aliasing
nah
use only render quality
well i dont think its as much sharp as native 1080p or something
but its way more efficent than playing in 1080p native
idk about after effects
there is a small line between having too sharp or too blurry smooth picture quality
See how to upscale with AMD cards here - https://youtu.be/-E8CbCco85c
If you have virtually any Geforce card, NIS is an easy way of upscaling from lower resolutions to retain image clarity and sharpness, and works on almost any game. It comes with a low performance penalty, and would be ideal in CS:GO where everybody insists on playing it at 320...
you can watch this vid to understand what im talking about
??? Why would you do that
18 is the lowest you’d reasonably go
It’s already visually lossless
2400 fps makes it weird
how much fps do you get while recording 480
it's like your mouse movement was capped to 125FPS
while your sword may be smooth
if you record in 250FPS
and move your mouse around
you'll see your mouse moving every 2 frames
atleast that's how i'd imagine it affecting, haven't tested to take this with a grain of salt
yeah using libx264
just keep your polling rate above the FPS you record in
do 500 then
well, as you can see, yes it does matter
whatever floats your boat then
if you don't see anything wrong with that and it's not a problem to you here you go: problem solved
i think it's because it interpolates duplicated frames
simply put yes
you can record at other resolutions than your screen but doing higher than your monitor's often looks scuffed
if you use reasonable encoding settings and upscale there's not much else you can do to help with bitrate
depends on pc
doesn't matter much honestly

vladaad tested that a while ago
you're way above recommended
what about 720p
it's hard to compare clips on different map because it can affect encoding a lot (some blocks on your pack may have a shit ton of detail vs a 1x1 pack, that'll affect)
haven't tested
yeah i tested in 720p and 13 cqp was a bit better
you can record a rawvideo 720p video and have motion blur to it
upscale and encode it 20 times with each ranging from 10-20QP
upload them all to youtube
see at which point it becomes a diminishing return
Lossless source: https://gofile.io/d/P2alPb
tested all ranging from 3 to 35 QP iirc
this shit makes it all outdated and much more complicated to really measure what ranges into diminishing returns
@desert stratus @whole dock am i brain farting or is that correct
is that new obs
im still using 26.1 thing
should i move
yes 28
waht
anything better about it?
does nvenc preset affect quality
yes
or just filesize
what
efficiency is both
26.1
though x26* has better quality with slower presets even at the same crf level
it's especially noticeable at really low bitrates
26.1.1
idk if this applies to nvenc too but my guess is yes
@static arrow do u have preview lag
in x26* and nvnec slower preset == higher quality and bigger file size @ the same qp/crf level
when editing
oh so it's just quality
i thought it was slightly higher q and much lower filesize
upscale
