have you checked nvidia profile inspector
i didnt configure anything on profile inspector
or tried install geforce expereince?
its just default settings
dynamic boost is enabled even if i dont install geforce experience (without using nvcleanstall)
regular driver
nvcleanstall
sorry i understand english
hayır means no
yeah
with the driver package
the thing is
how about just installing the display driver
i get like 300 fps more in minecraft with nvcleanstall
but when it comes to other games
+10 watts is usefull
So just sharing what I recently find out.
By disabling Nvidia boost 2.0 on my Max Q 3080 laptop, I got same hash rate but with Lower Temps. Because it is not boosting or pumping max wattage. Less wattage less heat.
My 3080 Max Q laptop is 80w model boosting to 100w. After disabling nvidia...
have you tried installing every single display driver component?
lemme check the device manager thing real quick
i cant update it via device manager
try installing frameviewsdk?
This error is caused by using NVCleaninstall or DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).
Make sure device instance path contain this value: ACPI\NVDA0820.
There are two simple ways to fix this:
-
Install drivers from Nvidia website
https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx -
Install drivers using NVCleaninstall, check the options in the video and ...
i have to enable this probably
yeah it worked
now dynamic boost is enabled
ok so in minecraft, as expected dynamic boost doesnt change performance
dynamic boost enabled
dynamic boost disabled
the thing is idk why but msi afterburner info gui thing was decreasing my fps by a ton
without afterburner fps
then dont use it
i only used it to show cpu gpu watts
are u just taking random screenshots of your fps LOL
make proper benchmarks
no need to tbh
its just same
@lavish cedar you can edit the nvcleanstall guide
this applies for rtx3000 laptop gpus
@slender phoenix about ur guide
i was wrong
i just tested 1080p
gpu draws 65w average
so it helps
I'll change that when I have the time
honestly does the optimus component do anything?
i was able to run a mx250 laptop fine with just the display driver
therefore making me think the driver handles optimus rather than the optimus component
