Maybe I'm not using these applications correctly, but can anyone explain if Borderless Gaming or VibranceGUI actually does anything and if so, how/what is the difference? How is borderless gaming difference from just setting a full screen mode from Nvidia Control Panel tbh

borderless gaming is very useful if you have more than one monitor
this essentially makes your game fullscreen but it doesn't minimize when you tab out
whereas in normal fullscreen the window minimizes when out of focus

for example, say you have two monitors
you have discord on one and minecraft on the other
you're in a game but want to send a message, so you can alt tab to discord without the game being forcibly minimized

Why would someone want that tho?
well, switching from or to actual fullscreen takes a bit of time, usually close to a second, which is very annoying when tabbing out
and especially annoying with multi monitor setups
