#Why don't they go around thru my city?

I highly question your roundabout setup ๐
At no point you can get from inside lane to outside. And no entry goes directly to the inside lane. This means that your roundabout allows right turns only
Here you go
Yea got it thx!
@frosty flume How should a car go from the one on the right to the one one the left?
well, second thought, the already existing connection shall probably exit further on?
?
I meant the one at the bottom
Here those slightly biased 2 lane RABs are quite common
Well... those are more like Turbo RABs, tbh
I have no idea how roundabout in RL are but that is how I make roundabouts in CS
I think, in most cases roundabout in RL do not even have such dedicated lanes. The cars just choose where to go. It is just no functioning that way in CS, sadly
Lane connector should generally NEVER be used or a roundabout ๐
A very unconventional way to set a roundabout up. It also may be that the game finds it faster to go around. This may be due to certain roads having a higher speed limit but it's hard to tell.
Very unconventional -> you can only take right turns or infinite circle
A BROKEN way to set it up.
Is there any way to create a turbo-roundabout without lane connector?
Kinda, yes
Well except for a turbo roundabout. But you need enough lanes for a turbo roundabout (usually 3 lanes)
And Turbo Roundabout without lane connectors = normal roundabout!
the number of (entrances+exits)/2 - 1, assuming you don't want to allow U-turns
Turbo roundabouts with different numbers of exits and entrances are possible, but a pain to work out
But you only have 2 lanes there!
Here they usually have 2
As I drew the connectors
