Double clicking the road isn't creating a node

the problem i have is that i cant insert nodes in the road by double clicking is that changed?

I believe that ability was unfortunately removed from the game following an update.

You can still draw a tiny road to create a node. Just draw an extra road and that adds an extra node where the road is drawn and it separates the road the same way double clicking does

Just delete the extra road once you've removed the giant bus lane

Do you have road builder?

If you do, make a duplicate of the road you’re working on.

For example, for a two lane road. You should have two sets:

1. Original two lane road
2. Duplicate two lane road

From there, draw in the road Perpendicular from where you want the bus stop to start & end, then upgrade the rest to the duplicate.

I hope that makes sense.

You can also just break the node perpendicular where you want the bus stop lane to start and end, and upgrade the remaining segments (behind and in front) to be roads with trees/grass.

but this only really matters if Lucia's method doesn't work, which happens to me sometimes.
