Anyone else stuck in the clouds when trying to load into the game since the recent update. I went into Steam and uninstalled and re-installed the game and still have no luck. When I open the game, I try loading in "without code mods" and I am stuck int he clouds each time. I never get into the game.

(Im new here so idk if anyone can just respond to these but I had this issue so ill share what I did to fix it) Your mods are what are messed up same thing happens to me if I have a messed up mod or corruption. U need to locate you mod directory and manually delete or try to force reload the mods. Im guessing you dont have the mod viewer skyve which is a launcher that tells u exactly what mod is broken and you and external delete or put it on pause.
C:\Users(NAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II
Here is where my mod cache is loaded, it is best to delete your cache completely then try to reload. if that doesnt work I would delete your .coc files (which are your mods)
If this doesnt work I can also give ya a call and show u how do it. CS2 didnt work for me for a year, and then I learned about skyve its literally a game changer

Hey, i've used Skyve to reset mods' cache, reload all data, etc. I've tried loading in with all my playsets deleted. Still no fix unfortunately. I can't even launch in safe mode. The only other issue i can think of at this point is an issue with Skyve. This seems to be a problem a lot of people are having. If there isn't a hotfix before they go on holiday, this just might be the nail in the coffin..

Hey, i've used Skyve to reset mods' cache, reload all data, etc. I've tried load...
this is caused by corrupted safe files, which you need ot delete manually
go to help and logs in skyve, the nopen your skyve log, it should tell you the names of the corrupted safe files, go into your SAves folder and delete them

Thanks HarborMasterJay. I deleted all the save games and it resolved the issue for now.

so, if I understand it correctly there is no way to then retrieve the corrupted game files? so all saves are lost?
