100% agree with @lament widget The demo was great. I can't wait to see more of your gameplay.
Looks amazing. Loved the video and can't wait for more content around it.
Also dropping by in support! The fact content creators got it 2 weeks early creates huge hype, I am glad CCP got a key, the first video was really tasty.
Def want more of this!
How do you feel about the creator nerfing the export of wool after feedback?
I do understand where he came from in his original design though, because wool is infinite (as long as sheep live), so why shouldn't it be an infinite supply of wealth?
Loving your Manor lords series so far. Can't wait to see what comes of the game.
Btw, for anyone thinking of running Manor Lords on a handheld, you can! https://www.reddit.com/r/ManorLords/s/MJtUGWGRn1
Huzzah!
Optimized settings for the Deck OLED can be found at the 6:30 mark.
How is the amount of content in this? Is it quickly exhausted?
I’m on vacation touring Ireland and Northern Ireland right now and I noticed that the plots in the city of Derry look exactly like the way the plots in manor lords are designed. The big difference being that Derry’s houses all front the main street. Just thought that was interesting
So apparently this was supposed to be on game pass since day 1, but didn't show up until today. I nearly bought it on steam. Anyways, going to give it a try now.
this is very early access
I'm loving Manor Lords but I really wish we were seeing the peaceful mode, I'm not into the battle stuff at all.
I do wish we could see the cities really evolve and get bigger by bringing in the other architectural styles that came about during that time period. I'm thinking Gothic cathedrals, Romanesque, the large stone forts and walls.
Also, it would be interesting to see some unique buildings that pull from different places in Europe or Western Asia to show trade influences on religious and civic buildings (i.e. Moorish influence, Italian, etc.)
Here is Rochester Castle in England
Here is Ely Cathedral
It's part of why I think the game is very early access. There just isn't a lot of buildings period.
In what way...? Seems rather polished for the content it currently has. Like, it looks good, is very well-optimized so it runs great, the mechanics currently implemented all seem to function as intended... Having alpha'ed and beta'ed games before and having done a couple EA's (most recently, BG3), this one is easily the furthest along toward release...
