#Need an experienced CS player who is willing to help

So I've recently gotten into CS and I just about understand the concept of road hierarchy, but only in other people's cities. I can't implement it in my own city
So was wondering if first of all, someone could explain road hierarchy to me
CPP makes a good video on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2y2GjTezCI&pp=ygUecm9hZCBoaWVyYXJjaHkgY2l0aWVzIHNreWxpbmVz It's mainly just common sense however. Think about it in real life. Go into any city and you'll notice the roads that have more traffic and contain commercial are bigger roads with more lanes.
Road Layout using the Principles of Roadway Hierarchy.
In this video, I'll explain the basics of roadway hierarchy and how you can use these principles to design a high-functioning roadway network within your city. These tips should help anyone just starting out with the game and should be applicable not only to the PC version of the game, but...
Yeah I did watch that video and I try and use that principle in my own city, but all the people seem to just use this one main road to get everywhere, even though there are plenty of other roads available
I think my main issue is the delivery trucks, because my industrial area is one location
Should I maybe separate it or add more routes for the trucks to access?
There are other videos abiut road hierarchy, by T4rget gaming and YumblTV. Their videos have flaws but overall are decent
Depends on industry size and surrounding road layout.
Ideally you want more than 1 input / output for an industrial area.
Going bigger is harder to setup well and control, but can be better than a ton of isolated patches doing pollution all around the city.
The industry size is around 60x40 units. They have a separate entry/exit onto the highway, as well as 2 main roads into the city
