Hello all, i just installed the game and some of the mods suggested here. but if i try to start a new map, it will start with anything unlocked. do you have suggestions what i could do wrong here? (the unlock all mod is off)

Without Unlock All on, the game will progress using the Milestone system and will slowly unlock mechanics and features.

If you turn it on, it will unlock everything automatically from new map start and you will not get anything new because everything is available.
Do you have Game Anarchy?

Ah, then that might be why. You'll want to check the Options and make sure the MOD isn't turning everything on.
It should be controlled by the default vanilla Unlock All.

Sometimes it is not the best idea to just blindly install mods from a list and to think everything will work fine 😄

Hehe indeed. I highly recommend always checking Options first when getting a new mod to make sure that it is doing precisely what you want/need it for.
