msfs modders charging 100 bucks for another #@*#(^$ a320 model when there are countless iconic retro jets nobody has started work on
MSFS pandered too much. I find control mapping to be an absolute nightmare, let alone having to do it for multiple aircraft. It is pretty though. DCS is the best heli sim available, x-plane has generally been best for proper commercial aviation, while msfs shines most with low and slow, civilian flying, particularly with additional assets
X-plane gameplay with MSFS graphics 
just make a few presets ie: 1 for single engine prop, 1 for duel engine prop, 1 for twin engine jet, 1 for quad engine jet
I understand that there are work-arounds but they didn't have to be necessary. They butchered the UI in the name of making it more appealing to 'gamers'. The physics are good, the visuals are phenomenal, but it's a pain trying to set it up as a proper sim
i do agree that xplanes approach of setting up a control profile per plane is better
you need so much pc specs just to play MSFS
