#Vanilla trams really don't fit well, I feel.

There are a lot of very nice custom tram assets, a lot of which also don't completely break the mechanic by adding way too much passengers.

A personal favorite, but not entirely appropriate: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=636670836

I feel like this is a small change that makes a lot of difference. I feel it in my city how much impact seeing sensible public transport assets makes, and would love to see some in Clearwater.

pretty sure theres trams used in Houston on the workshop, they could work well

Maybe someone could make custom cwc vehicles as well, it would be really cool to see busses and the like in the style of the cwc logo

I think Clearwater would need a smaller tram. Definitely not anything articulated, probably more of a streetcar.

streetcar=tram, just that streetcars got “stuck in traffic” so they rebranded as light rail and became a quasi-commuter rail

@rough galleon

You're thinking of these run on the MUNI Metro in SF 🙂

And if you want more generic livery (using the fictional Ryde company), then you can find that here:

Both of these creators feature both the older and newer MUNI cars as well. I only linked just one of them 🙂

Bumping this thread with the news of new roads. Van Buren can really benefit from an expanded lite rail system with the new shared/tree tram roads.

CO and Paradox just anounced the new content pack for November 15th with new trams and busses, maybe Phil can use some of them

Absolutely. The issue is completely solved with the new trams. I'm sure something more appropriate is going to be in that pack.
