Another question from a CS newbie here…. I’m looking at all the maps on the vanilla game and the 4 DLCs I have so far (mass transit, industries, sunset harbor and bridges and piers). All the maps start out with 6 lane interstates. I’m not seeing options to change the roadway styles. Are there any? Do all CS maps start out with 6 lane superslabs? I’d like to swap them for a mix of 4 lane and 2 lane rural highways but don’t want to waste money doing so. Is that possible before staring a build?

You can tweak them ingame without monetary concerns via mods, though
Or in the map editor I believe
But yes, all the default maps have three lane highways
Thanks y’all. That’s too bad. I will swap them out for smaller roads as I go along to get that rural county look connecting small towns.
I believe the (a) mod they were referencing was RON, which allows you to easily switch out all of the highways in the map https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2405917899
You could also always just get a map you like from the Workshop...there are a lot of map creators out there who have made maps with smaller starting highways...
Yeah…I browsed through them. There’s so many it’s daunting to find I might like. Is there a way to filter through map specs?
