Can load in and unpause the sim, but I got a similar error on load-in

I’ve actually re-subbed to all mods updated within the last 24 hours too
same error when loading up a brand new map?
hmm, it might be time to load the game up with --noworkshop (or you can use Load Order Mod for that just to disable all other mods)
I'm having the same symptoms. The error can be cleared and the game actually still runs in the background even with the error message up. My output log is getting spammed with "PowerlineAI" failures with the same header bar and I can trigger it during pause via building a power line.
powerline AI failures seem a bit different to this one which is RoadBaseAI failures
Hm. Suggests it might be a network issue generally because I'm also getting all sorts of other issues with my networks ingame -- water, heat, power, and vehicles are all behaving very strangely. Water & heat don't seem to work at all, power devolved into stipes, and vehicles are bouncing back and forth.
Trying a noWorkshop boot into an empty map now.

guess then you just enable all mods starting with A-M, and then N to Z
well, likely there's some dependencies that will ruin that alphabetical approach
I really don't wanna unsub everything and put it back one by one, but that may be where I'm headed
Load Order Tool is pretty quick at excluding mods

I would do them in batches, that would be fastest
add back 10-12 mods (note which ones you pick) at a time until it breaks
While it would be, I think I would probably prefer to confirm the critical ones one by one at first

Gonna try a noworkshop load into my full city, it'll be missing a bajillion assets but we'll see how this goes :v
surely you'd want to try loading up a vanilla scenario or something? I would imagine that errors could be caused by lacking networks that were in use
Mostly I wanna know what happens aside from the missing assets. If the other glitchy behaviour is resolved, then the next step is to pare down my modlist to a. the assets I use and b. the mission-critical mods (as above) and see if that works.
And then I'll start trying to work out WTF is causing this because I believe every mod I've got says its been updated for P&P now -- but obviously not 'cause, y'know, still erroring.
So I need to figure out what mod touches all this network stuff that I've not figured out yet
Let me know if you figure it out. I tried for a few hours to narrow it down, will try again tomorrow

I’ve updated to newer fixes of mods, replaced some beta versions with stable versions and manually updated everything that had updates in the past 24 hours

Trying to load into my city in noWorkshop mode stalled out so it's time for the tedious bit
OK so: minimal modlist successfully started a new city.
TM:PE, UUI, NC(R), Achieve It, 81 Tiles 2.0, LSM(R), Precision Engineering, ULOD, Ultimate Eye Candy, Harmony, FPS Booster, and Patch Loader.
Time to add in the next tier
Well actually time to see if I can load my for-real city, Iguess
OK, loaded a pre-existing city with that modset and it operated, bar a few 'index out of bounds' one-offs on unpausing, I presume due to the unsubbed mods. Time to add in the next flight.
Find It 2, Broken Nodes, NMT, Zoning Adjuster, IMT, Building Spawn Points, Hide Crosswalks all worked as well.

Transfer Controller 0.7.4, Advanced Vehicle Options, Optimized Outside Connections, Unlimited Outside Connections, and Enhanced Outside Connections View all worked.

That's most of the critical stuff for me done. I think I wanna check in Toggle It, ACME, BOB, Prop Precision, and Hide It Bobby next.
But I don't think I've got many more things that touch networks

I try to load my game and when it gets to 99% it keeps loading for hours and never load
This is my mod's list
- Change Extra Landscaping Tools to Extra Landscaping Tools [1.15.0-f2 FIX] https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2862940316
- Change 81 Tiles to this 81 Tiles 2 TESTING https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2862121823
- Remove Surface Painter, it's currently incompatible with all working versions of 81 Tiles
Hide-it bobby was my issue. Now resolved by subscribing to Hide-it instead
Also improved public transit 2 was broken by the update, not seeing much said about that. Had to unsub
Yeah, it also took me a couple weeks to notice that Hide-It Bobby! was no longer the current mod and that it had gone back over to Hide It! Glad you figured it out!
IPT2 has also been a mess for a couple months now.
I would just suggest switching over to Transport Lines Manager 14.3.
I honestly didn’t really use the features of IPT2 so I’m going to try vanilla transport management for a bit! 🙂

Huh, would not have called HITB as the culprit, though it was gonna be in the next set of (primarily graphical) mods I was going to add back in. Thanks for the tip, will switch to Hide It since it says that's now compatible with BOB
BOB, Hide It, ACME, and First Person 2.2 all work
Yeah, that mod touches networks I guess... Not my first guess either
(Side note: First Person 2.2 looks really nice)
It makes sense when I think about it, 'cause some of the stuff BOB does could touch networks and some of the stuff Hide It hides can be networks. But yeah.

I love being able to just move my mouse to look around while ghost-riding someone
I got annoyed with and stopped using first person camera mods for over a year...First Person Camera v2.2 changed my mind to be in favor of them/it again...
It's particularly nice with stuff like trains 'cause now you can check what it looks like for the passengers

I had this issue last night and 81 tiles was the culprit.
I'm having the same issue as described by foamy on my old map. New game plays fine. I had a couple assets that provided an error and I unsubscribed to them to no avail.
OK... got to the end of the thread... will swap out Hide It for Hide It Bobby and see if that does it. Wahoo... OK (having fixed the other known issues) the incompatibility was indeed Hide-It Bobby. Now switched out for Hide It and all is good. Thanks for sharing your efforts!
