hi, ive been trying to get github mods on epic games css, but they wont show up as dll files. anyone knows whats happening?

you need to download a 'release', that's over on the right side of the screen. Not the source code.

sure you can, you just need to get them from a person who has the steam version

ever since steam workshop downloader broke

actually some of them are mirrored on https://smods.ru/

which is certainly not the most user-friendly site, it has a bajillion ads and popups

but if you figure it out and have your ad-blocker on, you should be able to download them

appdata > local > Colosal Order > CS:S > Addons > Mods/Assets

I would assume it's something like "AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods"

for assets, I think you need to put the .crp folder in either \Addons\Assets or \Addons\Maps

true, it will be the folder containing the .crp file which will be placed there

just click download twice

yeah, it can work, you just need to be good at knowing which popups to close and which buttons to press, like any sketchy websites

if you can get the mods to work, then there's no reason the assets won't work as well

the app data will contain extra data like mods, savegames, settings, etc

when im in my mods folder nothing is there

the game installation folder will contain all the other stuff needed to run the game, but you shouldn't have to do anything with that

but didn't you say you put the mod folders in "AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods"

well I am also tired, so I hope you can figure it all out. As far as I know, everything is all supposed to be in the folders under the AppData directory and nothing goes in the folders under the Epic Games directory
