pinging since this has been reported before and you guys seem to have missed it

Modrinth no longer has previous versions of the pack as stated on the changelog for the july release. Please check our blog post for the release on our website for previous minecraft versions
we should at least make it so that the last uploaded versions work…
yeah that's fair but I told Evorp like 3 times by now that the database download for 1.21.3 doesn't work properly because I don't know how to fix that myself and I never got a response
you've never been told how to interact with the database?
no idea how I can fix auto zip
I mean I have the google docs but that doesn't really give me all the information I need or at least I didn't see it properly
did i ever write a doc on using filezilla
yes, I'm pretty sure I could fix the june release actually but the problem is with the experimental release
so what is the issue exactly
can you not just fix the pack format on github
am i missing something here
it is fixed, but auto zip seems to be stuck on the old version
like it's not auto zipping
it's just using the already cached one
huh
okay then lol what if you just remove the experimental file from the database
that way it has nothing to fall back to
I mean I wasn't gonna do that without being told to first
that sounds like something that would break something
it won't break anything
it's an experimental release, it's people's own fault if they go to the link and it's missing
there's no responsibility to keep this release functional
true, but it's what we use when we need to update the pack
as far as I understand zipping it manually causes issues with curseforge
i mean
what i meant was to remove the experimental zip from the database
then let the autozip make one again
see if that fixes it
sure I'll try that but first I'm gonna have to ask how to make a backup because even if it seems like it wont break anything I dont want to accidentally break something
you make a backup by just making a copy of the file locally
then you can safely remove it from the database
I meant like a backup of the database but sure
that's not needed
you'll just be removing one file
it won't magically cause anything else to change
fair I guess
yeah no deleting the file just removes the option to download 1.21.3
