Exploring the world of YouTube minecraft ARG’s I came across a not very popular yet quite deep mystery. Our protagonist’s name is Macricon2023 and it has a few let’s play videos with some odd information in the descriptions. Apparently this is footage from 2020 and Macricon is left puzzled by the rabbit hole he had discovered. He was asked by Mojang to test some unreleased Minecraft versions and an “ex”-Mojang employee gave Macricon a computer of which the minecraft versions were created on. However in the very bottom of the description in some videos, somebody seems to be warning us about Macricon, and any mention of the warnings (which are encoded in Caesar Ciphers), he denies that he can see them. The first video is here and we know it’s from 2020 but the other date like the day and month of the recording are unknown

Everything seems to be normal except for the fact that it’s extremely laggy and the frame rate is trash

#

He stares into very low render distance at the end followed by the message “It has started”.

#

The next video he starts on his house and the video starts with a glitched purple textures everywhere

#

The description has a Caesar cipher at the very bottom.

#

In the description it says “Also recently an “ex-Mojang Employee” gave me his laptop which he used to develop the “versions”.”

In the next video the Doors texture as well as the dirt texture changed.

Apparently the computer the ex-Mojang Employee gave him is locked with bitlocker and he is still waiting for a response as to the password.

This is also the best quality video he said.

No anomalies that I could see of within this video but the description has another Caesar Cipher which reads

“this “player” isnt what you think”

#

Macricon is also in a Mojang skin

Moving on…

#

The next video doesn’t have much except for a new Wooden Planks texture and supposedly a new sign texture, but he says he is “too lazy to show it”.

However, at the bottom of the description is another Caesar Cipher.

It reads:

“please dont believe him he looks innocent but hes not please”

#

Somebody clearly is warning us about Macricon, and Macricon denies the existence of the cipher at the very bottom of the description

#

Macricon did say he wants to make these versions open to the public via the videos.

In this next video we see the retextured signs

Apparently some time has passed and he has 33 ingots and three diamonds as well as some iron tools.

He said that raw iron was also added.

#

Cobblestone has also been retextured.

#

It seems that in every video there is a new version.

#

But that is only the tip of the iceberg for this video.

This is where the ARG really starts better.

#

This entrance to a tunnel keeps having cuts whenever Macricon looks inside, it is a tunnel with no torches and some weird anomalies keep happening around this.

Inside is unnatural, and no mobs spawn because this is a peaceful world (for some reason he cannot turn it to normal).

However after Macricon looks inside it cuts to him heading towards the house.

The rest of the video is mainly normal as he is chopping trees but as he heads towards the same tunnel

#

He appears to examine it as if he never built it

#

When he looks in the tunnel, the video ends.

There is no Ciphers in the video description.

#

The next and final video is the most intriguing of all.

#

He spawns inside the house and everywhere has been darkened, he cannot break or place blocks yet he can open and close doors.

We see him talk in chat visibly confused

#

Macricon thinks it has to be corrupted or something

A weird soundtrack of minecraft music plays in the background and he Relog thinking it could do something

However he cannot continue past the darkness as it stops him

He looks for an exit

#

He says “wait” before staring down the end of the front yard of his house before walking in, he has a black screen and a new world is loading.

However, he appears to be in a veryyy strange place.
