The central portal in the End always existed?

I have a theory that in the lore, the gateway portal to the Overworld in the End has always been there. It explains why endermen exist in the Overworld, and explains why an End portal was able to be constructed in the Overworld despite requiring material from the End, fixing the chicken/egg scenario: because endermen came in through that portal

I don't think the torches were always there, but I think the bedrock formation was there and the portal was always active, until the ender dragon was created with end crystals due to the ancient builders' foolishness

those are different mobs but the central portal do work as a gate way from the end to the over world as shown in minecraft dungeons ecoing void

i mean yeah but i feel like at this point mojang thinks its obvious that they can teleport between dimensions (which i also think) but people somehow arent able to the connect the dots, so they just randomly mention it in random places since they expect it be common knowledge
