I was investigating an arg on this channel: https://youtube.com/@TheNick56?si=6YI_IbzD8Lm3Uhg4
It seems to have really cool lore but I've hit a complete dead end. At the end of the second to last video, this text appears on screen for a long time:
"mllwstnhbo1ur.ktlvco.lw/eiomaspwcte//"
Judging from the replies left by the creator in the comments section and the video description I am nearly positive it is an anagram. (Though the possibility remains it could be a cipher, though I doubt it) But for the life of me I can't arrange it.
I have two theories on the nature of the message:
-
URL
the prescence of "www." And ".com" as well as a potential "https://" (except there is no colon, the link might just start with www. And the https is something else scrambled up) implies to me that it might be a url of some kind. The /'s may be subpages -
CONSOLE
In multiple videos we get messages prefixed with "console.//" Something also possible in this configuration. It could be that this text is a console command of some kind
The goal is to parse and arrange this string into non gibberish words and keywords to hopefully get a legible console command or even better, a full URL
Some other notable phrases present in the unscrambling that may help
"Vil1" is an important character, may be present as implied by the "1"
"Null" or "blocks" or both may also appear in the message as black blocks are spotted a lot in other videos but never referred to by this name. This may be a red herring.
Funnily enough the word "unscramble" can be formed out of those letters though it's likely coincidence
Any help would be extremely appreciated. I recommend this arg it's really cool.
