#Adressing the illogical parts of MCL's origins story

Reasons why it makes no sense:

-They only have genetical diffrences, so they would have merged into 1 group through years of reproduction between illagers and villagers. Or one group would have assimilated into the other, if one of the groups genes are dominant over the other

-How did villagers and illagers form in the 1st place ? Diffrent races/ethnicities form because of geographic barriers seperating diffrent populations of a species. But in those villages there are no such barriers.

-Why do only the illagers have an insentive to fight at the frontlines of the war and no one from the villagers ? We only know about 1 biological diffrence, their diffrent skin colour. And skin colour alone does not insentivse somebody to go to the frontlines or not. It would make more sense if also some villagers went to the frontlines. Meanwhile the legend showing some illagers not chosing to go to the frontline makes acctualy sense

-According to the origin story the axe was invented by knowledge and first created by knowledge, which makes no sense. Because axes were needed for people to get ressources like wood.

(Ik that in the legend they are both called villagers and that only their skin is the diffrence. But I still wrote villager and illager, because I am to lazy to write white villagers and grey villagers all the time)

Side notes:

-MCL as a whole would be amongst historians considered as an unreliable source. So MCL by itself is not enough to support any theory about the history of the MCL world and needs some support like other more reliable source or it being atleast logical and not breaking the historical context (espacialy the one at that time)

-If the origin story of the vindicators is at the same time also the origin story of the illagers, then it defies the historical context presented by the more reliable source that are the Maulers

-Many people seem to believe that legends ARE historical, but thiss is not true. By defintion (from Oxoford Langauges) a legend is populary BELIEVED to be historical. Just because its believed to be historical dosent automaticaly make it acctualy historical. For example the latest versions (from medival France) of the legend of "King Arthur" are and have been populary believed as historical, but the legend was acctualy completly fictional. Only the original Welsh legends had 3 historical battles attributed to the fictional character "Arthur" and the core event of the legend (the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britan) was historical. Nothing else.

Reasons why the origin story of the legend could have been changed over time and no longer be accurate to what acctualy happend. (Which would also be the reason why the origin story in the legend has illogical parts):

-The villagers have a semi-pacifist lifestyles, which is also represented in the legend with fictional ideas like the ow was a peacefull paradise in the past. A threat to their lifestyle are the raids of the illagers, so the most zealous belivers of the lifestyle would be concerned of other villagers replacing their lifestyle with a desire for revenge. And thiss origin story can perfectly be used as a tool to not allow thiss scenario to happen, by teaching the villagers that the illagers rejected their lifestyle and that they will be just like them if they do the same.

-The legend became mythologised. Over time history can turn into myth. Like for example mythical beings like gods being added to a historical story. Thiss can happen for example when a story isnt written down and first spread verbaly, until it has been written down. Thats because people can forget details or exadurate a story to make it more dramatic.
