#geography of the dimensions

Though there's a tiny problem about it
If the overworld is one big planet then how can we explain the world border and beyond it, there seems to be no end of it
I believe that the Nether is under the Overworld, ergo, it might even be the core of the Overworld if it's in similar shape to Terra/Earth.
And the End might just be outer space or it could just be a magical dimension beyond space
Yeah that makes sense and the bedrook is the barrier between the overworld and the nether
The devs, more specifically Dinnerbone have confirmed that the dimensions are completely separated planes of existence. The Nether is not physically below the Overworld nor the End is space
maybe the nether is the core of ANOTHER planet?
I pretty much just believe the Nether is the underground of a random planet
Well… not in the standard sense of “below”
They are stacked on top of each other in interdimensional space
"The nether is not physically below the Overworld"
When did that quote release?
Men are
Why
They might as well not be
Oh
That was a dev quote?
god
are we really debating the nether being under the over world again
got confirmed multiple times thays not true
its a different goddamm dimension
if it was under the overworld why would portals link up to it???? what makes the portals go just... down?
its 2 different dimensions
anyways so
I think netherrack is not very dense
which is why 1 block of it smelts into a fourth of a nether brick block
it essentially compresses
to make these black charred bricks
yes, but actually no
but actually yes
