Weird thing, I know how to read russian, but not understand it lmao
I actually taught myself to read Cyrillic, so ever since then, that "apyr" meme was just kinda "drug"
At least for me

FTP link posted a JavaScript code in #mysteries-generic with the caption, "You are all dumb. I had to do all of the work for you." This code is what decodes these images
#mysteries-generic message
Still don’t understand how dotty got it to work in reverse though
I think the code already decrypts it
If dotty is here, can you try this? I can't seem to get the code working
This is the code I'm using, just a bit more spaced out version
Seems to not want to read the file, even though it's in the same project, and is labelled as file.png
Tried deobfuscating it, and this is the best I've got
Still doesn't yield a readable result though
At least in the debugger
@pulsar trellis
Sorry to @ you, just need some help with this
And you're the only person in here it seems with the code fully functional and deobfuscated
when you ping the asleep person
Welp guess I gotta learn everyone's sleep schedules, their timezones, so that I know when to ping them lol
Oh and attach remote sensors for melatonin levels so I know when they're about to get to sleep
just know that dotty is european 👍
So they're at least 4hrs ahead of me then
wait, what's the time for you
EASY
give me this "deobfuscated" code
Currently on mobile rn so this could get messy
i'll get it readable
Extracted the text from screenshot
var file = "./file.png"; var key = 100; var scale = 16; const j = require("jimp"); var text = ""; jj. read(_ file, (_0x595ex6, _0x595cx7) = { if (_0x595cx6) { throw _0x595cx6; var -file = file; ["Hi.", "jimp", "", "height", "bitmap", "width", "getPixelcolor", "intToRGBA", "p", "g", "b", "fromcharCode", "Log", "read"); for (var _0x595x8 = 0; _0x595c×8 < _0×595c×7 .bitmap.height / scale; _0x595c×8#) { for (var _0x595x9 = 0; _0x595cx9 < _0x595cx7.bitmap.width / scale; _0x595c×9#) { var _0x595cxa = j.intToRGBA(_0x595c×7.getPixelColor(_0x595cx9 * scale, if (_0x595exa.r _0x595cx8 * scale)); 0 && _0x595cxa.g 0 && _0x595cxa.b 0) { break; text += String. fromCharCode (_0x595cxa.r - key) + String. fromCharCode (_0x595cxa.g - key) + String. fromCharCode (_0x595cxa.b - key); console. log (text);
and maybe later make a creator for this in something like pyton
ok this is worse than i expected please get home and copy the "deobfuscated" code and send it in 3 backticks
i already understand what the code does
i think ftp tried framing dotty of being ftp
obfuscation meghod is the same as gw15's obfuscation, code is written in js which dotty uses a lot
pretty much theres a scale and a key, every rgb value - the key = 3 characters
But man
so you will be back literally at 2 am again
FTP making it personal lmfaoo
It’s 3 am for me rn
i meant gmt+1 2am
Oh geez
You must be 6 hours ahead of me
But once I get to sleep and I remember to, I’ll get the code that I attempted to de-obfuscate to ya
I ran it obfuscated
that isn't what I did
this looks more like actual obfuscation to me, I manually obfuscated my code
abhhhok
and let me tell you, I used the same string encryption to convert actual variable names to those
they were something like
yeah thats what i mean
"hey"
"why are you deobfuscating this" or smth like that
this one looks like the js obfuscator sites
ik its some public obfuscar method
which prob don't have any meaning
and it isn't gcc (google closure compiler) either
obfuscators that leave traces of data are gay
BRUH WE HAVE THE SAME FILE NAME???
Lol
no i literally just downloaded yours and edited it
Lol
Lol
This one was a long one: https://pastebin.com/CRvu4qGE
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
Where was this one from?
oh, you guys are figuring stuff out?
Yep, also we have as close to source code as we can get thanks to ohmy
great
Also, the size of the file shrunk dramatically
lmao
Your js file with obfuscation is ~1.1kb right?
idk
The one ohmy uploaded is only 659B compared to the obfuscated roughly 1KB
wait so, what was the key for this
The key was 0, with scale set to 1
ok
I thought the key was 100
Key is most likely indicated by the total brightness of the image
If the image is brighter, then the higher the key should be
Ah ok
I noticed that since the image was darker, the key might've been lower
wow it deleted the other thing
The code still functions fine without the line var file = file;["Hi.", "jimp", "", "height", "bitmap", "width", "getPixelColor", "intToRGBA", "r", "g", "b", "fromCharCode", "log", "read"];
With enough practice we could be able to guess the key within a margin of +/-5

Can't believe FTP is a bts stan though
what
just realize dbtw
we also gotta figure out what to do with this
these types of images
and I think it's the same on that forest image
ok this was purely coincidental as I was trying to decode this image. I was trying to guess what the key would be and it was 50
and I was just literally talking about those gray images
"The 'grayscale' image can actually be converted to color. 3 pixels can be turned into one (only horizontally). Figure out how, I won't tell you any further information."
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/980886544833474560/1035310125583450222/589-3224.png
this converts to
"Were you talking about something? That's what I said before you decoded this mess. Congratulations! But you receive no prize. For now. Why? I am out of ideas for anything. I mean it. There's no more content. It's weird. Life is weird. Like you. You're weird. But we can move past that. The important thing here is that you need to decode fourthbully's image, not mine. So go do it! Reach for the adventure's heart! Be the man! I am encouraging you a lot right now!ᅫ"
ftep link I Hate you the funny rgb color is Better!!
No new things yet.
gim e rFor!!!
too lazy to scroll #1026876098484637706 message
.
Still no new stuff
Or is there?
Is this still going on or...?
Here's a new decoder js if there's any more of those images that pop up, you can now set arguments for keys and scales, as well as have it output the decoded result into a text file as well as console
After all these months I still don't get how the images are generated
But with this new definitive decoder, if this ARG becomes active again, we should have a bit better of a time instead of having to rely on pastebins and fiddling with the code itself
that's a godsend
I forgotten I was in this thread 💀
lmao
I miss this webseries so much
Fr
Currently working on a CMC Encoder now, I've got a theory on how those images were generated based on how the decoder works
If anyone wants to contribute, please do
Here's how I think the encoder works:
- Read a txt file
- Convert the txt data into a workable string
- Convert the string into a charcode array
- Split the charcode array into sets of 3
- These array sets of 3 are used as RGB values, which then variable "key" is added to each individual R, G, B, value
- JIMP is used to write pixels to an image
- These pixels are then scaled accordingly via a "scale" variable
- The final image is then written to the specified path
I can't believe Callmecarson is making another arg
