During the downtime, what i did to download songs is i used This service
However, it can only do 100 songs at a time. So i made a basic tutorial on how to split your playlist into 100 song chunks. Some basic interpretation is required to follow this tutorial, and it is for the website and the desktop app ONLY!!! no mobile users, sorry...

PLEASE READ!!!

This tutorial is only for individual users of SpotDL, not developers. If you're a developer just get a custom client-id and client-secret from spotify, however theyre doing some restructuring currently, so you may have to wait for a while for them to unlock making new apps.

Download tracks / playlists / albums from Spotify to MP3. SpotiDownloader is the best online tool to download music from Spotify to MP3.

This works on windows, linux, and mac.

#

there will be ONLY 100 (or less, depends on the playlist size) songs per zip file so make sure to extract them to a DEDICATED folder for music, so in my case i wouldve made a folder in my /home/ramen/Music/spotdl directory
if you're on windows navigate to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Music\ and make a folder called something like "Local Playlist" and extract the .zip files to that folder

#

On mac and linux if you REALLY wish to use the terminal to make your directories i got commands for you

[user@machine Music]$ mkdir 'Playlist Name'```
#

On windows (using powershell) the setup is quite similar!

PS C:\Users\User\Music> mkdir 'Playlist Name'```
#

Here is how to unzip on windows as well.
