Also I got reminded of this piece of memorabilia that I never shared. I used to be a Brony in my high school days (grew out of the show since) and I went to Bronycon one year and, lo and behold, Enjoi was there! They had a MLP collab going on (I have the deck too, just a little scratched up due to being irresponsible). I got a poster from them and guess who was at the booth? Louie Barletta and Ben Raemers (RIP)! So I asked them to sign it!

The creature board is odd tho

It keeps getting listed online in skate shops as 8.5, but the official size from the widest part of the coffin is 7.5, it also says so on the board itself that it's a 7.5.

The creature coffin is also odd because it's almost completely flat, the kicktail is barely even a kicktail because it's so flat other then a slight curve, that being said though because of that it's a really fun board to do cruising and 60s-70s tricks on.

It's one of the reasons why I wanna try the shank from Deathwish

Some of the hardware on that Element is oooooooold. Independent trucks, Mystery wheels, Reds bearings, and Black Label hammer-in hardware. All purchased around 2004-2006. Deck is only about 7 years old at this point lol. That Brockman Zero is old af though, pretty sure a friend bought it back in highschool, was gifted to me when she moved to the states 2 years back.

Hmmm, maybe drill a few small holes on the bottom of the legs on each end. Then build a mini skate park with some plugs that can fit into the holes. That would be pretty cool, and you would have a mini skatepark. Same idea as this lego set but not as complicated

You can ride either 8.5 or 8.25! If you feel like your next board, you might want to go bigger than 8.38 possibly, get 8.5s.

Then you don't have to buy new trucks, because 8.25 trucks on an 8.5 board is a little small, in my opinion.

You can definitely use those 8.38 trucks on an 8.38 board too though.

and I'd say that's definitely a great setup, especially if you're just starting out.

I’m not exactly sure, but yes most trucks have a slightly different height. I ride Independent Hollows which are taller than average I’d say. It isn’t a hinderance for me really that I can tell.

Starting out I say get a setup like that and see how you like it, learn some tricks, try some new stuff next time you get a setup and start building a preference on what you like.

I ride 8.75” board, 9” Independent hollow trucks, 52mm wheels, Bronson Raw bearings and Jessup grip. When I started I rode 7.75” board, 7.75” low Tensor trucks, 49mm wheels, and random bearings haha
