Maybe the trucks to indy/thunder? But everything you got there is highly selected by skaters they go from there afterwards

The basic skater list is:
Bones reds
Indy/thunder trucks
Spitfire formula 4s

So you're on the right path. Imho reds wear out too quick. When im rolling for tricks they cut out speed very quick after having them for a while. Bronsons stay consistent and smooth and faster for a lot longer

i don't know a lot about skate mechanix but what kind of upgrade should someone get on a complet? trucks are trucks after all, arent they?

Yeah trucks are pretty solid no matter what. Its personal preference. I know people who still skate tensors. You dont have to know the ins and outs about skating to figure out what works just take some time to understand whats going on

If your board feels slow check the bearings arent too old/dirty/destroyed. Replace those to go faster and roll smoother, that's just one example of what to expect

You dont wanna be worrying about your board and setup. Its not that important. Once you improve your skating youll see where you outgrow areas.

Yeah tight trucks are fine starting out to help keep balance. Eventually when you start skating round the parks youll want to loosen them to move around easier.

You would be much better off getting one of the Globe or the Zoo York (personally recommend the Zoo York over globe) completes they offer. Looking at the Rad decks there, that's a skateboard shaped object not really a skateboard. It even says "max rider weight 132lbs". That right there is a red flag because if you jump and land anywhere but perfectly on the bolts, the force of you coming down might snap the board in one try, meaning you wasted €65 and will have to buy another one very soon. Whereas if you went with board that cost €80-€100, the odds of it snapping on you drop dramatically decreases and is a safer option that will last you longer.

Now if you can afford a little more this one would be a great bang for your buck

I'm an older skater. I don't skate as much anymore, but I push around from time to time. This is my wall in my loft. The beat-up skateboard was given to me by Erick Koston back in 1995 when a friend and I drove out to LA. Over a couple of days we ended up skating with him, Steve Berra, Rick Howard, and bunch of other pros each represented by boards on the wall. Completely by chance.

skated Reedville from the opening as well, i had a full arm cast after breaking my wrist on the 7stair rail skating DOS at like 3am with Palmquist and Jayme. When Reedville opened up i had to skate, even with the cast. Simple backside 180'd the euro gap and ended up sliding out, naturally tried to catch my fall with my hands... stuck in a cast and broke the cast in half 🤣 1st day at reedville. Concrete was brand new and they had new barkdust surrounding the entire park and it made it all dusty and slick.

Board size and shoe size doesn't matter as much as you might think. What matters is that you are comfortable with it for the riding you want to do.
Smaller board can flip faster and let you get more technical. But it's more twitchy.
Larger boards are more stable and can be more comfortable, but can be harder to flip

I think he did a few clips in the 2000s, then appeared in tony hawks project 8 as a character, then skate 3. He recently made a comeback in a (berrics?) video and I think that is what birthed this deck maybe?
