pop is fine, loosen up on the back foot so u can scoop a little more and let it come around to ur front foot to catch it then ur back foot kinda follows. also compensate your jump more for where the board is going. the quicker you scoop it around it generally doesn't go as far forward.

Just a tip for next time, your stance is a bit forward facing and looking stiff. Turn your front foot sideways a little more, bend your knees, and lean more of your body weight into your front foot. That will give you more control over what's going on when you hit the speed lumps

only thing i could see that could change your ollie dramatically is having your front foot be a little farther back, let’s you slide a little more, and also let’s your back foot pop a little harder, other than that, practice makes perfect and really just experiment with other things to see what helps you best

While going to the skate park straight away sounds fun you might be better of practicing more with riding around and just pushing, stopping, steering, get that down first and then skatepark would be the next step

Honestly, I don't think the ground is messing you up a whole lot, if anything it's actually helping right now so you don't slip out. The main issue is that you are still learning the mechanics of how pushing works. Once you get comfortable you'll be cruising down quickly in no time

here's one thing i did to help with my ollies

i since i already did popping to make up for my ollies i could pop, so all i had to do was get the flick, put your board in the grass, and in and ollie like motion off the board, then i would go on my board and when i tried to jump the same way it wouldn't exactly work so didn't jump i popped then did the jumping motion

it's not much it helps a bit with your slide

Yeah, I had the pop for fakie hardflips waaay before I could even kickflip & sorta just set them off to the side until I had better board control. Then one day I figured “may as well figure these out” and found it easier to throw a 180 in there haha. First one I’ve landed in almost a year, they’re kinda a party trick 😂

relax your knee, then do the movement with your knee and your feet light, you better get the hang of it because in the flip the knee will be quite precise.

Be careful not to relax too much and the skate doesn't stick to your tennis shoes and fly into your golden balls, it hurts a lot, keep in mind to make the movement at an angle the higher it is the more vertical the angle is

Almost got my FS 180s but I’m not getting enough rotation, I’m gonna try rolling tomorrow

Thanks. Spot has these steep stairs, deeper stairs and a loading dock all at the same height, so perfect spot to slowly up the difficulty. i think it’s your front foot flicking too far, u can see in this that ur front foot is pretty far away from the board when it’s 75% done rotating so u can either slow down ur heel flip or try to do something about the front foot
