Because you aren't jumping and trying to land it. You are starting it off then kicking out of it so you don't stay on top of the board causing it to get ahead of you.

I don't know if this will help you, but I have trouble keeping my back leg on the board with kickflips. Something I just learned today though is it is really helpful to bring your knees to your chest to keep them from coming down first

Look at your back foot. When you start it, you pretty much stop moving forward with the board. You aren't jumping with the trick. You jump up and stop moving like you want to land where you started and not where the trick is going to land. You set it up like that from the beginning and that's why your board land in front without you. If you were jumping with it, you would land with/after the board. But you are landing before the board

If you can't jump jump and land on the board while moving, you might want to practice that. It's a bit important to be able to land on the board and roll away, it can help you know how to jump and land for other tricks.
Honestly it sounds like you are trying to bite off and learn too much at one time without getting solid feel for riding basics

Tips on landing?

Bend your knees a little more as you drop to absorb the impact a little better and bring your center of gravity a little closer to the ground so it's easier to stick. While you landed with bent knees it looks a little like you tried to stiffen up a bit while landing. It's a normal instinct when trying to land something you aren't too sure/comfortable with, but with more practice and loosening up, you completely got this! It already looks really good and you know you can land it, now to get comfortable with it

Dip lower so your knees bend more, more flexible you are the bigger air you can get off the pop when you pull your knees up in mid air. If you can stand and jump and pull your knees up above your waist you can ollie abouts the same height.

Anyone got any tips for nollie back heel? That’s the closest I’ve got on 14 different catches, I’m catching bolts it’s my body weight idk how to adjust to stay over the board proper

About halfway through the rotation you keep your front shoulder (which would be your new back shoulder) dipped down while focusing your feet for the catch. It's stopping you from getting your body out and on top of the board and only allowing your feet/legs to drag along with the board rather than your entire body.

Buy pads and a helmet if you must. Falling is a part of the sport. You're gonna get hurt, just accept it and move on

That looks pretty good form wise, but seems you are catching to early. If you exaggerate your jump a little more after your flick that might help. The beginning of the flick looks great and it looks like you are catching it in the right spot, just need to let the board rotate more before bringing your feet back in for the catch

Im new to skating, and i got in a muddy day, how do i clean it and is it damaged?

Grip tape is easy to clean, and if you want to save money on not buying a "grip tape cleaner" you can go to a hardware store and buy the stuff they use to clean belt sanders. But thats not the important part.

Flip it over so we can see your components. If it's as muddy or more, aside from wiping everything down, you'll probably need to give your bearings a thorough cleaning or look into replacing them if they have been sitting there with mud inside as the water might've already started to make them rust.

The deck is probably fine depending on how wet it got and how old it is. If it's a fresh deck it should be fine. but If it has a little age to it and got pretty wet (like you were riding through puddles letting it soak) it can make it feel soggy and steal your pop.

Trucks should be fine and just need to be wiped down

I'd get a damp paper towl and start wiping everything on the underside of the board down to get the mud off, from there see how the bearings roll, but you'll probably want to give them a good cleaning either way
