So when ur opponent tries to look for them and they cant reach it, they lose. I wish they added back tag, or fireball.... Or add something better like team trick attack or team graffiti. Or time elimination (where like in racing games, there's a timer and depending if you're behind first place, you get eliminated as the timer goes down)

Imo, you're reaching pretty hard here. There isn't a missing finger, it's right there bent next to the index finger mostly hidden by the thumb. The second image can easily be explained by the shadows and very slight motion distortion a lot of the image has.

That being said, if anything at the most it looks like a screenshot that was taken in-game and then stylized/edited/added filters and effects to it.

Yeah thank you 🙏🏼 just an old canon 500d I got second hand, exposures are 15 and 20 seconds, neutral density filters can help a lot so you can let more light in without overexposure, I just got a basic set on eBay by a brand called Cokin. Been a long time since I bought film too and yeah it’s crazy expensive, maybe you can find some expired film for cheaper ? Get cool double exposures sometimes with it too

there's not a "fix".
if you uninstalled (as was mentioned in the message in the forums, Discord, and email when the servers went live), you just have to download skate. - then launch skate. (not skate.CPT). they install in the same folder.

As an OG, It doesn't compare to the others, especially the 2nd game, but its a Skate game. I'd say they have a ways with some of the little glitches and the online needs to ironed out, but at least we have something.

It’s fine in my opinion. I’m personally not a fan of the graphic style and think the challenges can get really repetitive. It has really good mechanics for street skating and with tweaks to momentum and pushing the vert can be really good as well. It’s really all about what do you want out of it as opposed what can it offer you

I understand the point about the challenges but I’ve been thinking for a while, you can’t really do the same static style challenges like the old game in a live service skate MMO, like once you’d done them it was a completely insular experience with only free skating, at least with this setup we’ll be getting new challenges over time and new content to unlock. I know some people would prefer pay x amount for offline game with all content but that’s not what they’re doing and I accepted that a while ago, I think they found a good balance

oh no I understand I’m just getting bored of “stunt, spot, line”. I think they have a real opportunity to make the missions themselves different from the challenges as opposed to tying them together. It could offer some diversity in the gameplay loop and give a feeling of “progression” going from missions to mission. Like you’re working through challenges to get to the missions

Yeah agreed I think there could be more variety to the rotating challenges, there’s a lot of spots that would be cool, I actually spent a lot of time from March-June skating in market mile and then when challenges were added there, a few were the exact same spots I was skating or lines I was trying lol so it’s definitely possible for a lot of variations

My favorite spot right now is actually the dime park. I love a street park and if they could bring some elements of rolling reverence or dime to a few more places in the map I think it’d be super cool. Especially for comp events

Btw someone definitely didn’t test dime park. Those Ollie walls in between ramps instead of a box with rails is kinda dumb, and the sword in the middle is insanely annoying to reach for a grind just to hit the other end.

They have a lot of good ideas there but it’s missing a certain rotation. It doesn’t feel continuous
