But honestly that's why I haven't played more of 1+2. I genuinely don't enjoy the experience of being on a timer. I'd play it so much more if those were redone to be more like 4 where you can stay inside a level as long as you want and initiate challenges along the way without it ending and having to start a new run every two minutes.

The timer never made sense to me. It's not like you can really complete everything in one timed go anyway 😤

You can! Lots of practice and knowing the best ways to do it. They even have a leaderboard for best speed runs

But they are a product of their time. Ps1/n64 can only handle so much. Plus the game was originally supposed to be a down hill racing game so the timer probably was a big part of that version

So imagine how much more fun 1 and 2 could be if it adapted to a more modern style of playing instead of sticking with the timers, and allowing a timed run option to turn on and off before starting a map to allow for that nostalgia hit

I'm sorta a loner. I've had a lot of friends.. I talk to a lot of people. So its not even really antisocial.. But I've always been a loner.

It's part of the reason I started skateboarding. It was something I enjoyed that could do alone. It's probably also the reason I like offline story mode and barely play online.

I guess it depends on the person's sentimental view on it. For a tiny object, that is expensive. But if someone wants a long lasting product, then its worth the investment to utilize to get better at a craft. That is NOT to say that material is everything, when at the end of the day, practicing and skills matter the most. I finger board with a tech deck before and with a higher quality brand. There's deff a difference. Grip tape is better. The bearings are better. The trucks are better.

If it's not a server you own, it's a bit presumptious (and rude) to call the Admins dumb.

That being said, @ everyone should be used sparingly, if at all. That's why this server has News roles you can self-select. If someone chooses to not use them (and the admins do tag the right ones for news), that's on them if they stay uninformed.

As an admin for multiple servers, I wouldn't consider it as needing discussion.

Feedback on how a server operates is always welcome, but at the end of the day, if the admins have set the expectation of behavior and someone attempts to force the admins (and unless it's an official server for a product, game, etc. they're generally volunteers or do it on their own time) to do something, at a minimum it's out of pocket. If there's specific rules regarding mass spamming "to force an admin" then calling them dumb, yeah, it's bullying. Name-calling kills an potential conversation that could be had and harassment/bullying is never necessary.

There's plenty of options users can employ to silence a server if they dont' want pings.

I personally think - from a professional point of view - mass tagging isn't great. (usually depends on the size of the server, too.)
Also the reasons why someone an admin/mod would use @ everyone must come into play. Is it relevant or are they not creatively thinking about how to get necessary information out?

It's been confirmed they're making another project but it's not clear whether it's gonna be a reboot or sequel

They did everything practical but studio got involved and demanded CGI. They even made a practical model for the alien pilot

In the BTS, there were a lot of practical effects. Like in the chopper scene, the ending alien pilot, the arm alien absorption. Such a shame now a days studios don't use CGI to enhance a movie. They opt to use CGI to make a movie
