Credit where credit is due rightfully Full Circle is being transparent with us, at least as transparent as they can be legally. We weren't blindsided yet and the game looks solid from the trailers.
I'm glad we got a new entry and really hope the execs don't butcher the game.

honestly the fact that content creators, ppl who have been in the community for years etc are working with them makes me hopeful, even If "its ea its ea!!!"

It's not like y'all are gonna have to buy a new board if you break your virtual one.
If you want to ride with brand name clothes (things that I assume cost money to even implement into the game via licensing and stuff over my head) and boards then you have to pay.
Otherwise grab your blank colored deck and generic white t-shirt and go skate and have fun.
My speculation is that we're going to be paying for custom characters like pros and clothes/skateboard graphics. They said they're not blocking off any of the map. So win/win for everybody.
We get free game. They get paid by the people who want to look fancy or people that want to support the team.
