Can't really make judgments on the controls for the Skate series due to my incompetence when playing the game, and because of how my control sticks don't function all that well due to wear and tear. However, I can say that at least ollieing works fine

If its a new engine old glitches will probably not work, but that also means there will be new glitches to find

I skate IRL so I always wanted realistic tricks to feel more rewarding, and I put about 10k hours into skate 1-3 so I wanted more of a challenge, but I think players should have to freedom to choose the playstyle they want instead of forcing one way to play the game

Something I feel that a lot of modern sports games have issues with when it comes to their soundtrack is the variety. Lots of sports games I've played around the current decade (and a few years back) don't seem to mix it up a bit... In my opinion, of course.

I always used that setting in the skate games where music only played at specific spots on the map. It also helped when you first started playing a new game cause if you heard music you knew you were close to a cool spot

I think the free running will be good for the playerbase. It's not my thing, but a lot of people who enjoyed skate, especially skate 3 liked the stuff like hall of meat and all that and weren't as concerned with the actual skating game play. If I can play on hardcore mode with realistic settings and someone else can parkour and goof around thats the best for everyone
