I mean I love the content we get from seasons, I'd just love for none of it to be timed/limited I guess. Though personally it hasn't affected me as I enjoy playing Skate literally every day lol and I don't think I've missed a day in months.

This is true. Dozens of games have seasons now. FOMO sells, sadly. And I admit it works on me for sure. BUT! Skate's seasons are so easy to complete. As compared to like CoD where that game is such a ballbuster, and it's like homework trying to get your hour or two in every day so you get the pass done in time.

i dont like having to play the game so i can play the game.. i want to play the game at the start and without any grind so i can be on par with other players, which in certain genres makes it almost pointless starting games late in season

battlefield's passes are equally insane, i've never really played that much but i shudder to think how long someone would have to play to actually complete all the tasks. i don't think you need to do anywhere close to all of them to just finish the pass tho

Dem Bones = $25

• Dem Bones Cosmetics (costume, deck, wheels, trucks, 3 stickers)

• S4 or S5 skate.Premium Pass (depending on when you login)

I think sometimes the deserved complaint is how aggressively you push monetization. It isnt the fact that paying your way in to these areas is easy, its the fact you are reminded/dangled a transaction every time you look at the area. Like Forza has a button on the map screen if you accidentally press itll beg you to buy a Treasure Map DLC. Darktide had purchasable cosmetics made years in advance on launch, but didnt function as a game yet.

I remember you could do a tuck knee then a boneless and get a decent amount of height, super easy pop glitch, but they patched it out this season. Same with that old launch glitch. I found an easy way to clip into any roof and I don't know if people already know about it but I'm not taking chances.

I'm going to make an educated guess but I'm pretty sure the reason they don't already do something like this is and hide the daily currency at the bottom of the store page is because they want people to forget and not know it exists. If everyone who had the pass automatically got given the tix whenever they boot up the game, they could easily do at least half a page of the pass from the tix alone. But, since it is so hidden, people don't know about it unless they go looking for it, and the daily currency could be the difference between someone finishing the pass or having to purchase more tix via SVB.

Got some pretty cool and creative clips but the AI clips just feel out of place. AI always has the same art style and just looks funky if I'm being honest. I think AI is a great tool but image and video generation is just not it yet. There is also just no flow in the video, feels like there is just clips with music plastered over the top. I think the image you're trying to paint is there with the whole punk aspect but the AI is just throwing me off.

AI systems have been used for years in game dev, for NPC patterns or creating systems the world functions in

but AI generating u an image from a prompt, or generates a video based on an image, is 1. stealing work 2. making data centers require heavier use of water making water undrinkable to those who live near the centers and electricity bills skyrocket

so there is tasteful ai, but u can never make AI images or videos tasteful

Without diving too deep into the specifics, AI is obviously a huge push when it comes to a lot of companies, especially in the US rn. Being in a cybersecurity role, most of my job lately involves workshops on how to use it for the average joe. Sometimes, we deviate and show random goofy AI generated videos and graphics on purpose, to add some humor in to the process and presentations. I just happen to try to include ideas that I can use later too often - like this video for example

Look, Data centers are not great, The amoount of AI and the speed we're rolling it out and wasting resources on it atm is not great...But there have been useful and useless data centers everywhere for decades. But now all of the sudden people hate data centers because of AI and vice versa.

ig the AI view in the US is quite different to here, my entire country (Denmark) is very against AI, is working to let us copyright our faces and identities so we can sue people who use AI on us

so i think my overall view is based alot in "this is scary" and "damn... someone isnt gonna have drinking water"

but i see where ur coming from, and again, ur outcome still looked cool- but glad ur not overusing it, and theres an actual reason behind and not just "haha funny i can generate output"

Yeah I’m a solo player and am completely turned off by games that force multiplayer. Especially for skateboarding games. I just want to hop on and skate, and occasionally compete against some challenging NPCs.
