How it works
You’re in complete control of how you spend your Tix during the season: auto-exchange will only kick in once the season ends. Here’s how it works:

It exchanges Tix for higher rarity items first
If it runs out of items on that page, it moves backward to earlier pages
Auto-exchange completes when you do not have a high enough Tix balance to obtain any more items
Any Tix remaining after auto-exchange completes will be wiped
season 1 rolled over 25% of your tix balance and any purchased tix...
the whole issue with the above quoted info was it was a last minute announcement and ppl had bought tix early for S3 and found that ANY tix would be wiped after the auto-exchange, including purchased tix or those rewarded via the EA store
