if you learn to disable QDOs like mentioned you can kinda get the best of both worlds unless its really bad.... learn how to "inspect" a QDO buy going up to it and pressing L3 / LS button .. there will be a disable option there

steam should have native ps controller support as well as skate.... if you go into the game properties under controller are you seeing the option disable steam input there?

steam input will use XInput which is why its seeing it as xbox controller (you prob read this already i guess)

To keep things fresh, I use QD, or I do the daily challenges, then go back after knocking them out and see if I can switch up the listed requirements.

Ex. C-Line.
Instead of a Quad or Hextuple flip to grind the rail to grab over the bus stop, I’ll go for a foot plant to dark catch to nose manual to revert, switch Laserflip to crook on the rail, no comply up the step to a foot plant off the bus stop.

Looking up IRL DIY spots, real shots or clips that use a custom built ramp are always inspiring. But also finding somewhere (like a high edge, vending machine, dumpster), that you otherwise couldn't skate. 2 cinder blocks and a piece of ply are my go-to combo.

Best recommendation - find old skateboarding videos from the 1990 and 2000s. Not just the hardcore stuff, but goofy/silly stuff. Get inspo from there.

@ebon lake just wanted to say that a 1080 isn't technicaly barely above min spec. it's like two times faster than a 1050 ti which is the min 😄

shes showing her age for sure. but its a few steps above the 1050ti. if you're playing in 1080p it should be ok.

1440p or something ya might be struggling for performance. i still use a 1080 in my wifes rig here. 🙂

but it's probably the SLI that is an issue at a guess - i dont even think nvidia want to support that any more ha.
