go to:

inside there, check the two weird folders like 8e3010f / ff1f3ef. the one you want is the one with a CONTAINERS file that mentions ProfileSettings or ProfileSettings2.

that container is the graphics/profile settings because it includes lines like:

VSync;v_sync_off Target Framerate;target_uncapped_present_tltr Global Graphics Quality;Custom

close skate + the ea app/steam fully, then rename that whole folder to something like:

8e3010f_backup

don’t delete it. relaunch skate and it should give you the “configure new settings” screen. from there, set fullscreen/borderless and your native resolution right away.
this should force the game to stop using the cached 400x400 launch/window state if it saved a broken display config.

its concerning how little activity there is here now, we have so few new members interacting or trying to interact regularly.. i know for a lot of people there is mid-season boredom, many have had access to Grom for several weeks and the Nike event is coming to a close, but this is not the only cause

i think its time to reduce the chat timer down to 30 seconds (this will still mitigate bot spam and rage posts/trolls somewhat) to let people with low ranks interact normally - the other option is to significantly reduce the required level for immunity, i'm talking make it level 5.. its a sea of orange/blue users in here now, greens come and complain they cant talk and move on
