parties and invites have been acting weird forever, and that has gotten worse since S3.

I missed the bad patch, but what I understand is that the update came out too early, and if you have installed that you can't log in at all? And you have to "update" again to get 0.30.1 back? If I understand that correctly, that should not be your issue. But IDK 🙂

I think this was around patch time. They reinstalled and we were ok tho.

When you’re trying to party up is it giving the weird “you don’t have access to this” bug? Or just not working?

Because that “you don’t have access to this region” thing has been a pain since grom launched for me

And I turned it off, and then suddenly the bug stopped.

Like for a week or so I’ve not had it.

Yeah this was the exact thing for me.

Even two people trying to join in San Van we’d randomly get the permissions error.

I think they’ve mistakenly shown that screen/error for all connection failures 😅

In my experience, when you first boot up, you need to just chill until the ui starts showing ‘ username is online ‘

I think something on the backend is causing account data to load weird or in a bad order, hence spawning you before running the check on friendslist or whatever, ya kno?

The party UI takes a long time to catch up lately.

Appreciate the idea, though we have also tried this. In the beginning I was in server for a full 10 minutes and my Australian friend joined me just fine before Spanish one could not.

(I'm wondering if the issue is regional or specific to certain interregional connections.)

Yeah these are all issues I've seen a lot this season... but being completely unable to connect after multiple troubleshooting steps across multiple restarts and a PC restart is new to me.

It very well could be a regional thing, maybe different server regions call for player data in different orders

I also hate the thing when someone clearly has their party open and you join them and then you get the "server is full" message. Like, ok, if that's the case, move the entire party to another server. Figure it out.

You can now see which members of your party are able to visit Isle of Grom for co-op play.

That doesn't make sense until may 5th though...weird timing 🙂

Joining as a party or even choosing who to join (or what server to join) on load would be a nice quality of life thing tbh

A lot of the time if I see friends online I wanna join them.

It’s weird loading the game. To go to a menu. To then reload the game. 😅
