Just stopping by to say, I would LOVE it if devs attempted half of these challenges without any assists. I would LOVE to be proven wrong that they are clearly not designed with hard-core in mind.

My grind assist is 0-5, min pop height is lowest, etc. (but I do play 2-3 hours 7 days a week across multiple platforms)

if they make them with default settings then its a common middle ground that can be made easier or harder depending on your settings

Many of Skate's issues come down to a lack of proper planning and a lack of concrete delivery

They poorly communicated the Tix auto exchange system
They poorly communicated the temporary Grom paywall
They struggle to give concrete answers to many players worries

It's hard, no doubt
But I think Full Circle needs to recognize that proper and cohesive communication with their supporters is what actually drives community trust

Pushing away proper discussion with the "we hear you and we're listening" doesn't invite any confidence unless its acted upon

But they have been getting better at communicating, so I can only fault them so much atp

has anyone experienced issues where the flick-it visualiser shows the correct stick position (the dot) but doesn't trigger the trick?

making them with no assists settings in mind would already cover the casual base. You shouldn't get actively punished for playing semi-realistic. It's not even in skate 2/3s DNA. More challenging sure, but man's just said he plays 2-3 hours daily and can do it. Buddy thats a part-time job....and I am coming as Fighting Game fan. So time investment is a not my problem. It's the facts certain grind heights, grind transition gaps, drop in gaps, etc. All actively sh*t on you for playing with assists off. But whatever. The community manager said he can do it, so I guess it's a non-problem. And 90% of the player base is going to play with assists on so why care.

If the game detects you press the joystick too close in time to pressing RT, it will assume you wanted to grab the end of your board.

Because if it's those, only items count. Titles do not count towards the box completion number. (and there's a bunch)

Apparently FC look at which songs are favorited the most as well (im guessing that helps them decide which songs to keep)
