I have never seen anyone do an OTL solo. From day one I've only ever seen people complain about the difficulty if not impossibility of doing it solo. If anyone has recorded themselves doing it solo, I would love to see it, but I'd bet they're in the top 0.0001% of players. And if anyone claims to have done it without recording it, I don't believe them 😂

Dawg when they first released it was so much easier doing it solo cause I was literally doing them solo and the people I was with we would just go over the limit of reps. I remember the OTL near the church that’s literally the one I was soloing

I tend to forget to up my grind assist up when loading into an OTL so I often try avoiding any grind goals because of it lol

Im 95% sure this is not a controller problem, i now noticed that when i for example press the quick drop menu which is the button to the right, if i start like spamming the marker button then it at the same time activates the right button while im just pressing the up button for like 20 seconds, but when i stop for like 5-10 seconds after that and try again it will consistently press the up button / marker

I stopped using 0 assist in S1 when I found that if you flip trick from the roof in Rolling Waves down to the coping of the vert for that challenge, it will pull you left of the coping into the vert even when you aim slightly right of the coping, which was just wildly annoying to me.

Vert mechanics but in general pool sites and ramps physics are a mess. It doesn't speed up when pump, I feel like always loss speed, it's not fun to do vert and ramps. Old games where perfect by this side. Also there's no help with settings, because they don't say nothing about mechanics. Also the fact I need always to look up for them cause it reset every now and then

Well I used a normal DualSense and it works fine. I just have bad habits with controllers that lead to drift within a year or so given my volume of use, so I decided to buy the Edge to see if the sticks would last longer, also noting that they're replaceable on pro controllers, which I'm hoping will offset the cost a bit long-term if the rest of the controller holds up for years.

Instead of removing the tuck knee pop glitches and other pop glitches , you could turn them into an official mechanic. Something like “Pop Tricks” that players learn in the tutorials just like the other tricks. or the devs could come up with another name for the pops, and we could see them make come back in a future season

yes there are new pop glitches but they are not as clean as the old tuck knee pop. the new ones look and feel out of place. every time you do it you have to see the quick menu pop up and the animation for it looks quite stiff. the old one felt satisfying to pull off, especially with a bodyflip. tuck knee pop glitch made me play the game every day even without new content
you have to claw to do a 180 spin into a pop, you didnt have to claw on the older one

skate is a video game and a game needs to be fun, the tuck knee pop glitch was not like a glitch, it was more like a trick that fits a game where you could do tricks that aren't possible in real life, it was so satisfying to pull of and it created a deeper movement system that made Skate feel unique and incredibly satisfying to play. Removing them took away one of the best and most fun parts of the game.

If anyone remembers, a ton of folks were not into the whole buying DLC map packs for the older skates.. so tbh this is not a surprise.. just scummy that they would say one thing yet don't follow suit.. I get it.., money is what drives them to continue... but they legit lost more money by doing what they did.. if people had grom for free.. would have given people some hope and prob would have bought the $10 pass just to give them some support
