as an example right now grabbing the board pumps. If a grab can pump so should holding down on the right stick. Grabbing to pump looks bad the animation is too fast. Left stick up to pump looks great, but you cannot pre-wind and pump at the same time. So if you want to do a prewind spin up a vert you have to use grab prior to prewind, when really holding down with RS should pump because physically pumping is just bending knees

the point is both grab and 'feathering' (just say push LS up, feathering what?) works. If you use right stick to pump you are not pumping you have auto pumping on and you think you're pumping but the game is doing it for you. RS does not pump at all.

Do you guys think this game is ever making it out of early access?

Pump strength is determined by how much you bend the knees in the game. You get bigger pump strength the more you push L2/R2, just as you get more pump strength the more you push LS up if you have that setting on. If you do a big pump with LS it looks smooth and natural, if you do a big pump with L2 you can grab the board. If you only tap L2, you will pump but you aren't getting full pump strength

Notice how your ramp is the size of a sky scraper. Yes if you're doing megaramps only this is zero issue, as you have all the time in the world to start your prewind before you reach the top of the ramp. Now try it on any realistic ramp, and show it in first person, and show your settings to show you have no assists

Haven't been able to play Skate. on my PC for over 2 months since the season 2 update. Every time i launch it it tries to launch on my 2nd monitor and absolutely crashes my PC. Has anyone else run into this? I've tried literally everything and am starting to get annoyed. It worked fine season 1 aside from the small window bug that was easy to get around. Now i can't play at all.

i'm guessing you have an ASUS motherboard? their chipset mumbojumbo has some issues with second monitor programs. unplug your second monitor (or just disable it if you know how) and boot the game again, should work.

i like being able to make a bee line to the final page costume and then the rest in basically order of most to least desired.. i can see the linear approach working as well but still i like choosing my own path through

the other option to minimise tix rollover rather than a full wipe or % just cap it to like 2000 tix which is a decent chunk but wouldnt even cover the first page

I get all the stuff I like in a mostly linear way. This season that was about half of all the stuff. So it’s not even that I’ll have not enough tix. I still have to earn new ones to unlock the pages anyway.

Problem I have is: first season we asked dozens of time what would happen. We didn’t get an answer. Then there was this percentage thing but they wouldn’t tell us how much for some reason. This season, we started asking if it would be the same. Radio silence. And then…BAM.

Which is fair, I understand that they've done it this way to give people a choice, which is nice. But it just feels unnecessarily complicated and unintuitive. I still think at minimum any tix that is paid for should remain, even if everything else resets.

Since character customization isn't really 'male' or 'female' I assume they could just have a sports bra appear if the chest size is over a certain size. But I agree that it would be kinda sad if you can only have them on forearms or calves, since everything else is hidden by clothes.

(then of course the "on the radar" mention of skate 1-3 maps which i feel wont be part of the main skate. map but moreso another way of accessing that kind of imported content)

I love the perma challenges that you can do just the once, then whenever you want to again if you feel like it. Instead of what rotates every day to get lackluster rewards and that is just the same thing over and over again to get the rewards. I also don't like doing too many bearings challenges in general they aren't very fun at all imo. One or two every once in a while is fine but to do em every single day nope, I don't even bother.

Sometimes. It really depends. Like in assassins creed for example. You get everything that you’ll need to play the game fully and unlock all kind of stuff. And for people that want stuff players like me would never want. Like a flaming sword and a ghost horse and what not, they can pay for that. It’s all feelings at the end of the day, because of course we pay together for all of it. But still.

I always worry that it encourages turning the game more into a store front shilling things to you or holding items back because they feel like they can make a cheap buck selling them.
