Players want to hear from the dev team regularly. It would help people feel more excited about the game if we had some indication about what's coming.
I play a ton of OverWatch, 2xKO, and Fortnite and players have a good sense of what's happening each week. No word from the Dev team since November is wild. That update was mostly about tix rollover (bye rollover) and softlocks.
People want to feel confident that their time and money are going to be well spent. The silence isn't a good look.

I get why they basically asked criterion to use their renderware drives system back with the first three games and took so long to develop it for this new frostbite version. well, we've shared it's a known issue in the Weekly Grind and some workarounds.
such as:

• if you're logged out in a community park, the team is aware that tasks may not track. teleport out of the park, then restart.
• being in-game when the daily refresh happens can cause tasks to not track properly. restarting has predominately resolved this.

Im afraid if they cant change it. Like if they change something like "Now clothes can be layered", then all people with an iten that has an jacket (that in our version has a shirt inside it) would need to have the inventory changed OH WAIT thinking of it now it cant be that hard... Its as simple as just take people with these items and automatically add the new item (like the jacket) to the inventory of those people while deleting the old item (Jaket + Shirt), or change each item that has layered clothing as a whole (which would be harder I think)

EA other game apex legends does that. If you buy the season pass you can get enough free coins to buy the pass for next season. A game that’s far more popular, skate should be doing that and more to save the rapidly decreasing community.

Yeah, and like if it doesn’t pay for itself then why put SVB in the pass at all? The general idea is supposed to be spend $10 and then if you play the game enough you can get some cosmetics and bring down the price to like $6? If it pays for itself you can tell yourself the battle pass paid for itself (when obviously the money is gone forever since it can’t be transferred back to cash)

I will say it’s nice that you can get some on the free track. I don’t want to disparage that. But in my brain I’d rather almost just categorize it as full spend to get cosmetics instead of trying to get some of the SVB I spent back. Like, if I spend SVB on something then have to work to get some back, yes I can spend it on something else which is nice but I could have just spent it on the other thing in the first place. Thats how my brain interprets it

If you mean keyframes, they can reappear if you press the button to make visible the limits, saving and keyframe options. That's how it was for me a few hours ago

They're selling stuff far too high for everyone to be interested. It's a balance obviously, but lowering the cost would easily drive more sales on so many of these items. 😔

just make sure you keep the grab held for like 20m plus easily. it should be fine off m-corp

was talking about this with some peeps last night... i think the issue is the game is tracking the distance that you HOLD a grab... for the challenge

but it shows the distance you've gapped in total.

so gapping 17m or something, and only holding the grab for 14m of it (because of the animation delay at the start and end) means you dont get the challenge done

You can also build anything from any place you are in the game if you use quick drop and nail that gap instead of trying to think theres some secret- specific-right-one way to get that task completed if its causing you to lose time actually playing over frustration. Create less friction - its a sandbox game. Skys the limit.

Dude i just did it last night and showed the whole party how to build something anywhere and doing it because they spent like 2 hours wasting time trying to find the right spot to do it. Placed two ramps at the top of one of the communit parks to gap down to the lowest transition. immediately completed for all players.

it's glitched, m-corp or the crane seems to be the most consistent way of getting around the glitch for people, hence the suggestion like @nimble charm said 😄

Yeah, im not saying that doesnt work man. I agree. IM saying, be creative. Usually when friction arises, its because your trying to force it on a spot that is not compatible with what you are trying to do. Its open world, but even in the open world not everything is skateable even if you can ollie on it. Using creator as a main tool in the game, instead of an after thought, is the key to getting a lot of stuff done.
