Like I feel that but both sides can also be argued, theirs a fair amount of 'free' stuff + the good few times they gave us an event thing for free. Over time getting better free fits won't be so hard because their will just be more options.

Chat does anyone else struggle with hitting airwalks and tailwalks? Should I be crab clawing my controller to get those grabs?

you make sure you go into the initial grab first of like down + trigger, then press B (or whatever button it is for you)

You're basically doing a command to do one grab, then into another - just very quickly.

I am currently using a Xbox Elite Pro controller thats fully customizable for any button I want to use. I also have a Turtle Beach controller with 2 back buttons and a Gamesir G7 Pro that has Hall effect sticks and back buttons. I've only been using back buttons since they came out. They were weird to get used to at first but now I can't play anything any other way

basically if you hit all the inputs too fast, your skater tries to do the shortest animation first, which is a grab

if you're doing a seatbelt grab you're moving RS the wrong way i think or grabbing with the wrong hand

the best way i can explain it is to do this:

go to m-corp.

jump off.

hold BACK on the right stick.

watch how it moves the board.

hold UP on the right stick.

notice it moves the board

you want to grab it in those positions.

then do B

yeah if you do it too fast it'll grab before the board fully tilts

but once you've moved it and then grabbed, you can let go of RS to hit B

tilting the board and THEN grabbing it basically locks the board in place

it's definitely a learning curve lol

but yeah for me the biggest thing was doing the grab at the same time or immediately after the RS board tilt which caused it to be a different grab, you gotta give it like a third of a second before you grab

if i'm not spinning, i actually use my left thumb on the right stick, to keep my right hand in a normal position 😄

e.g. you nose tailbone, if u let go of the RS you will still be in a nose grab, which is perfect to do the airwalk (doesnt HAVE to be nose tailbone basically

best practice @vital laurel find ur favourite halfpipe and go back n forth, hitting nose tailbone then tail nosebone (dont even nofoot it

master the nose and tail grab then u can benihana/tailwalk and dogpis/airwalk on command!! 🫡

It’s not Grom itself that’s the greatest thing. People want to go back because the current map is very samesey and even the most dedicated players are burnt out from it. Grom has the things the current map is missing. So it won’t hold players over forever, but it’s a good compromise for getting new areas while we wait for an expanded map

Like in a dream world they’d double the size of the map next month and give us hills and suburbs and industrial areas and mega parks and who knows what else. But that’s not realistic, so at least having Grom satisfies some of those wishes pretty easily for the time being.
