The lighting is especially odd when you think about how it functions when you enter the hangar in the GulfCrest community park. All of the lighting outside of the hangar gets artificially boosted to help light the inside of the hangar better. I noticed this when trying to take a clip with the replay editor as I wanted the camera to go from outside the hangar to the inside, but all of the outside is too foggy/ bright for that to be feasible.

I run 0 or 5 for 99% of gameplay.

Basically it stops you automatically locking into a grind.

To test it. Go find a rail, and Ollie slightly to the side of it at an angle, anything above say 10 and you can start noticing the game pulling you towards the rail.

0-5 feels like you land more where you aimed.

It’s also super useful for things like doing a manual on small ledges or benches, where with higher settings the game just pulls you into grind that you didn’t want.

Above 5 and some things are impossible to do. Things like quick rail transitions, or even “falling” off a rail with 0, cannot be done with higher settings.

I do stick it up to 50, or even 100 if I just wanna get some challenges done easier. Or easy co-op fun.

But solo play I run it with it almost off.

it is an excellent controller for $80

G7 Pro Gripes:

• Microswitch face buttons scratch and sometimes squeak on the swappable faceplates
• The D-Pad is mid (but it is swappable so that's nice)
• The controller ergonomics could be a tad better

But these are nitpicks, other than these issues it's still my favorite controller
Would love to see an eventual revision that fixes these issues
