Playing "normally" should take like an hour, just for one daily task, it's disrespectful to the players, again, it has NO interest as a task, absolutely none.
Even the "finish 3 objectives in 5 challenges" challenges were faster than this, and much more interesting. For the past month, the objectives were linked to specific locations, which was cool, but for the last three days, they've been replaced by horribly long, unfun, and uninteresting tasks that feel more like weekly or monthly tasks, over a "long" period, not for 24 hours, as if we had nothing better to do with our lives than skate 10,000 meters.

Personally, sure some of the dailies are a bit bland, but I think that's mostly the point, they need to be achievable in your normal sessions. I wouldn't mind seeing more stuff at specific map spots to help people find new areas though, and not just like "in hedgemont".

I think the biggest flaws currently are:

• No real story mode
• • The missions are literally just tutorial segments, that's not a compelling story. I get it, this game doesn't really work with a traditional story mode, but the missions should have some proper overarching goal or common thread that ties them together, rather than just being tutorial segments
• Lack of challenge types
• • Why are there only 5 challenge types? I feel like that's a pretty big missed opportunity, especially for reducing the monotony of the game.
• • • The addition of the Line challenge is good, but that's also undercut by the mediocre Slam mode that's nowhere near the Hall of Meat of previous entries

I think the game feels like a Skate game, it has all the bells and whistles and stank of the previous entries

It's different because it's not trying to be the fourth installment in the Skate franchise

That was never their intention

For what it's worth, the skate games were all about the gameplay to me
and for it to be replicated and even drastically improved means this title has proper value to me
makes it feel like an evolution

And the story modes in the Skate games weren't anything to write home about, they were really just a means to drive the player through the game's content
