Its the weirdest but best advise I ever heard for buying gear. If it's only Skate you have been dealing issues with and everything else is flawless, verify the files, if that does not work re-install. That is in mind that everything is up to date, all drivers and bios. If the game is grey and it affects your whole pc not just the game process is more leaning towards a PC issue. Somewhere CPU/GPU/memory are just not having it no more

Honestly no clue ive had so many bugs with skate, one week I’d get Vee bug me and restart my game just to come to a grey screen that I can’t alt f4 out of or anything I guess I’ll have to try those things but I’m 99% sure it won’t change

The last one I was told is Nvidias issue was stickers not showing up since the s2 update, still can’t see those either

this might be a long shot but it helped fix a different bug for me. try going into your Appdata/Local folder and renaming the Skate folder to something else (i did Skate_old) and then boot the game up. it'll wipe your settings but like if all else fails it's worth a shot lol

Well that is the PC life, could be that your CPU/GPU combo with the your motherboard does not like a specfik driver update, GPU update or bios update that does not tick well, could be a memory thing, storage thing, could be alot of things. Maybe roll back updates until one works. Lots of things to try
