EA Javelin anticheat only runs when you launch the game (unlike some others that sit there in the background all the time)

i can only suggest these general steps..

make sure the firewall entries are present for inbound connection - both the skate and anticheat exe

disable controlled folder access (for testing purposes, if it works then you can turn it back on and add an exception for skate

clean boot and disable all startup applications and services (leaving the anticheat service enabled) to rule out some sort of conflict

uninstall anticheat via the program files folder method and reinstall it by downloading it from EA again.. there are also tools to fully uninstall software lik revo uninstaller that could be used after you do it the normal way

verify all game files, make sure the game is installed on your C drive (been an issue in the past where the game was on another drive)

most buildings can be climbed, some have fast travels.. usually i might fast travel to a tall building then spread eagle down onto a lower one.. the throwdown teleport will be good for crossing gaps or for shorter buildings

It is fairly obvious as to why an anti-cheat utility is implemented, regardless of 'early access' or not. There are a plethora of reasons which there is & always will be. 99.9% of all online games [free, paid, etc] have some sort of anti-cheat system involved within their games. This is nothing new.

There’s nothing to do for those who already completed everything. Play style has nothing to do with it, the map has stayed the exact same for two seasons now apart from certain spots getting ramps. The winter event was decent but what else is there to do for the two month wait time? Do the same challenges that refresh every day I suppose right?

what i do is go for clips, thats why i mentioned playstyle-

like i love realistic skateboarding, so- i try to mimic real skate footage, i like going for lines, finding new spots, using those new interactable vents and stuff around the map, i love the new rooftop pool map parts- and i like mixing up tricks for different lines and finding new ways to approach a spot

• that keeps me pretty busy

but i do understand if ur a more unrealistic player who wants a mega park, or comp player whos lacking gamemodes that- rn there just isnt smth for ur playstyle yk? but im hoping it will come

also, we do see the other side of the bridge having a city being built, so surely more map areas and returning to isle of grom is coming our way aswell!

i also have a theory that with the gamemodes, a megapark in the brickswich arena will appear- but again thats legit just my theory, no hints at it anywhere

but i feel like it would make sense for season 3, since that update seems abit bigger and more ambitious than the other ones

I keep saying this, but too many people are assuming all of these things are definitely coming next season. The road map says season 3 and beyond. That means some of it will come in season 3 and some of them will come later. But we still really don’t know what is coming and when.

The reason I assume those are coming season 3, is because of the fact there was talk about an expansion of the road map when season 3 drops, aka revealing the next couple of teases for the next seasons, I think it was worded that way bc when the roadmap dropped it was super early, and it’s mainly bc they weren’t sure when what would drop, but yea I mean u could be totally right-

I get op’s point. Not many are playing it because there isn’t much more to do now compared to when the game launched. Impossibles and some rooftop ramps are cool, but they aren’t going to retain players or bring in new ones. It’s understandable bigger requests like map expansion, custom parks, pvp modes take time- but it’s justified imo that people are bored af and sucks we have to wait two months for anything.

there's only been updates at early access release, season 1, post skate-o-ween (oopsies fix or didnt align), season 2, pre-rollstice (prep?)

timing has varied from 2wks-5wks

console have a delay for validation but these days that can happen in 3-5 business days and both PS/XBX have hotfix options with super quick turnarounds for game/hardware breaking updates

Lately, I’ve been having a strange issue with the game. The graphics settings don’t get saved at all. Every time I launch the game, it looks pixelated, and I have to manually change the graphics settings again. Even after fixing them, they don’t save once I exit the game and reopen it. just remember that if you mess with graphics settings it can trigger that issue again.. not all of them in my testing but things like upscaling and quality presets for that are almost guaranteed to break it again
