open up %localappdata%\skate\data and in there will be a folder thats just all numbers.. delete that

when you launch the game, it will recreate it and you'll have some startup settings to choose

there was a method that involved renaming the whole skate folder, but that will mean your videos/screenshots wont show when the game recreates the skate folder and you'll have to move them back or remember your old files are in a different spot.. this way just avoids all that

Already tried that. Doesn't resolve the issue for me. 😭. I can get settings to revert to default but not control them. As soon as I try changing anything, menu page is bugged again and no settings can be saved (except switching between Borderless and Fullscreen, which does for some reason seem to stick; all more detailed settings are failing to save for me).

I've even let it remake the whole Skate folder, reinstalled the whole game, updated driver, and verified file integrity 10 times (did you know the game breaks its own files every time you launch it?), so I was really hoping for a new idea. 😭

yes being unable to change graphics settings without it causing the whole resolution problem again is an issue..

in that numbered folder are 2 container folders, one is a backup the other is your live settings..

i have had success hex editing the files to control settings but some changes via the menu will make it revert (like different DLSS settings)

i've been modding sim racing games (porting cars from one to another or cloning etc) so it feels comfortable to do so for me atm.. hex editing isnt something to just have a crack at usually lol

Yep. I mentioned yesterday that each season should introduce new loot boxes in each current or existing district. By the time Brickswitch comes out almost every single player will be able to open them all in one sitting. I would like a little more focus on pumping for vert ramps. Pumping is very hit or miss. Keep getting “Ground Grab” a lot of times and not pump. Do I pump in the transition or above it? Can’t seem to get the correct answer. Some say in the transition, others say above it and it works better? What’s the real answer.

I sort of found a workaround, which is to pop the moment your front trucks hit the edge of a vert, then pump the moment you land to create speed.

Sometimes, it glitches out a bit and give you a ton of speed

pump max strength is up to you (20/25 for more realistic), do not use 0 or 5 cause you will not pump at all

Basically, the 360 formations in clockwise would be;

Annoyingly one of the parkour ones for gullcrest had the best park inside the warehouse but was a pain to get in. It even blocked the front door entirely and kinda hid the entrance.

you have to fix it manually by going into your Appdata/Local folder and renaming the folder called Skate to something else (i renamed mine Skate_old), that's presumably why it's been declared "fixed" even though the fix has to be clientside (well that, and that it shouldn't continue to happen after that)
