We use my basement as a rec room with multiple sections for storage, laundry, and mechanical stuff. But ik a lot of people use their basements entirely for storage. If you have a lot of clutter, seperate stuff into piles of keep, trash, donate/sell. If your basement is just dirty, move stuff around of the way and start vacuuming, then sweeping and using other cleaning products to get in the grit of it.

Theres weirdos that will hate others for playing a certain game just because they dont like it. But there is a difference between that, and the people who are getting frustrated that the devs arent listening to our concerns. You can like a game and still have annoyances about it. For me personally I really love the gameplay style but im very frustrated with the gacha system and I likely won't be playing consistently until they revert the rewards back to what they were, because why am I gonna spend 2 hours a day on a video game when all I will get is at most maybe 2 loot box pulls?

I got one to add but specifically about this server: fix the appeal system!!! It doesnt even work, and its extremely confusing. Add a specific moderation bot for discord and add the system through that. Theres literally game developers in here, it shouldn't be too hard. The appeal system through EA's site doesnt work, and id be very surprised if EA would bother even listening to the random people complaining about discord drama

I convinced my youth pastor to let us build a DIY on the church’s basketball court. Had it open on Tuesday nights and he would make dinner for the guys who came to skate.

If given the choice of riding around with either, it’s honestly a little tough. I’ve been skating with Shingo since Skate 1, but Sean’s an IRL pro. I wish I had both rather than this consolidated option.

Skater XL is on sale rn for $30. I’ve got 1.5k hours and is more like MX Bikes of skateboarding once you get it modded. The game will never die and have a loyal community for the freedom it fosters. We all play on an old build that will never update or change. Everyone is actually unique and different with their style, you can tell who is who in multiplayer just based on how their skater rides. It’s like the local skatepark, every night the same dozen people get on and we just chill on maps together. Watching each other have fun and get clips. Really beautiful thing :’)

Unity Mod Manager installs the mods for you, and filming is pretty similar to keyframe in Skate 3, but there’s seemingly a little more glide to it to give a more real appearance. I’ve enjoyed my time with it.

@echo path Session is great and satisfying. People seem to prefer it feel-wise, but I really dig the board control and steez from XL. Literally can’t go wrong with either choice, unless you’re playing off a console. If it’s console, the answer’s always Session.

It’s a live service game, it will not ever be moddable because it requires an always-online connection paired with an anticheat. Even the most dedicated communities aren’t able to revive live-service games because companies like EA lock all functionality behind server-side connections and never release the source code after they shut it down

Filming editor is a lil tricky but very simple to understand once you play around with it. And really you don’t even have to film; you can just play the game and be just fine too. But once you dive into it..and figure out how to add NPCs, rig animations in blender to make your NPCs do whatever you want, the potential is limitless. Some people make full on movies with it. Again, creativity ceiling is endless.

That’s fair. I gave it a chance. Put about 30 hours into it. I found the environment, characters, and ‘story’ (if you can call it that) extremely cringe and just kinda bland. I really did try to enjoy it, but in the end, emulating Skate 2 and 3 on my PC is a way more enjoyable experience. Plus, you can get online multiplayer working on emulation with Skate 3 these days. I won’t lie, they did do good with the Skate gameplay. But the Skate series is more than just a character riding a board with smooth animations. I hope they realize that someday, but as for now, I don’t have much hope. Modern EA has never been good at holding up their promises. Look at the PVZ: Replanted release alone. They butchered my favourite childhood series.

I have skated for 20 years of my life. I went to college and got a degree for textiles. I worked in the industry and made the stretchy covered elastic yarns that go into socks. I love socks. I love skateboarding. I am very particular about my socks and shoes and how they help me feel the board.

If I am in rainbow socks that go up to my knees, I feel uncomfortable. Its not my style and lot of skaters would agree. I really think having a base option of black or white crew socks is an easy decision to make, but nope, they are purposefully withholding it to encourage me to check the shop every day to see if they added it. Nope, not playing footsie with sock psychological torture. Uninstalled the game over socks and it’s truly a shame.

The biggest criticism I read here isn't even directed at the developers. Here in the channel, people are quickly shown what's wrong with the game. Personally, I think Noroi: The Curse, Incantation, V/H/S 2, Grave Encounters, and Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum are basically some of the best found footage horror that exist. It's not comphrensive, but those movies are ones that i'd heavily recommend to people.

The point of martyrs and what it does brilliantly as cinematography though is that at no point will you understand the direction. It takes 3 major narrative turns. The ending preys on the most common fear in humanity. The first three are just supposed to lead you into dread. It left me with a feeling of questioning trust. Martyrs is not a fun horror movie. I was not and am not scared of it but it preys on the uncomfortable. It can and will succeed to make you watch the movie, its a masterclass in preying on statistics.

Grave encounters is a fun little film. I've been to all the spots it was filmed i lived near the real asylum and broke in and partied there with goth friends multiple times. It's not scary to the sense that a horror movie viewer or adult will be bothered. They are just genuine good fun.

In my experience it's a double edged sword. It's a common filming spot so I dont believe it's truly haunted. And the danger isn't truly great for that reason aswell.

There is very real 'used ropes' and blood stained objects if you look in the places nobody would film. But also rats, huge spiders, etc. Its definitely a fun explore.
