helldivers 2 has warbonds which are basically their "seasonal passes" except they stay in the game forever and are completely free to get with the premium currency if youre willing to grind for them which takes like 2 hours or less, they dont have fomo and the game has been doing well in terms of economy

Man I want to like this game so SO bad. The update did so much right. The warmer lighting and soundtrack additions did wonders for the game's tone. I also love the map getting seasonal changes, that's a really cool idea. The monetization is just so god damn predatory its insulting. there's other games out there that are literally skate simulators. try session, maybe you'll stop complaining.
