they do intend to add more brands, its in the road map. but the thing is they cant just go slapping brands in the game that's not how that works. its been 15 years since skate 3 so they have to do a lot of negotiations to get partnerships before they can even begin all of the modeling and programming to put the stuff in. that's why there is much unbranded content rn. it will improve.

I skated street and vert a lot as a kid, started back when I was 7. A couple years back I transitioned to Longboarding instead - I like the flowy energy of it and there's less risk of injury. I don't bounce back from injuries like I did as a kid anymore.

Low preset is locked to 30FPS, if you change your preset to medium or high then drop each individual setting down to low, it should be uncapped.

My girlfriend owns a skin is CS that’s worth over £300, which I’d never spend on a game unless it’s like Fortnite which I think has had almost £1k out of me, but she got it for herself as a birthday present. When im buying microtransactions or anything entertainment wise I base it off $/hour
for example - Buying a new release movie = $10/hour
New release game = $5/Hour

If I plan on playing a game for enough hours where i'm spending significantly less than $5/Hour, then I don't see the harm.
For Fortnite and Skate i aim for around the $0.50/hour -> $1/hour max.

i believe the crux of the live-service debacle has never been "life impacting". moreso about the gaming industry as a whole, as evidently we see a shift of all major game companies to adapt live-service only games for a concerningly large amount of their recently released games.

The worst part of Skate in my opinion is that replaybility after completeing all the daily challenges/tasks, i'm finding myself just hopping off until the challenges reset.

I wish there was more incentive to continue playing, whether that's through replaying missions with reduced XP or something else - The Battlepass might fix this issue (hopefully they dont limit how many tiers/rewards you can unlock a day) but it is a little bit of an annoyance of "welp nothing to do for the next 15 hours".

I have been, I just have a lot of hours and have done almost everything there is to do - practically maxed out level 10 in all areas and have done all the impressive viral jumps. I'm more interested in the grind of unlocking stuff than mindlessly freeroaming (cause i've already done a lot of that already)

honestly that might be a personal play style thing man not a game issue. i don't think its unfair for you to feel that way, i agree there could be more but again the point of the game is skating and if you get indepth with it with the replay editor and spot hunting the playability and ability to create "skate parts" is pretty deep. + map will be expanding greatly so you will never run out of the ability to go out, skate new spots and get tricks. i do agree though again, once you burn your challenges if you're more into that gaming side of it yeah its clip 💀

I mean don't get me wrong i love the game a lot - but it would be nice if we could get some rewards for doing throwdowns or potentially small amounts of XP for just doing tricks around the map. I don't mind freeroaming after completeing daily challenges it's quite entertaining - but I mainly view it as "I still have stuff locked that i have to wait 15 hours to progress through, if i continue playing during these 15 hours without getting anything out of it, i might get burnt out before I unlock everything".

so you know how rn you go over rails only one kind of way? there's like at minimum 10 basic ways to traverse over a rail, and all of them have variations. the one they have added is called a safety vault, there are sooo many other ways. they can add a subset of offboard controls that allow for you to access other vaults.

there are also no setup moves for flips. aside from basic cartwheels and roundoffs, there's an extensive subset of moves that can be done to launch into flips (look up martial arts tricking, it ties into parkour)

there is also something called underbars where you jump like towards a small space within a rail feet first and catch it as you're passing through that they could add, and also many stationary moves that can be done interacting with walls and whatnot like running up a wall and flipping off.

parkour runs almost as deep as skating in terms of variety and this game has NOT even scratched the surface.

But at least the beards in Skate have physical substance, the long beard option sticks out from your characters chin even if it does look like it's held on with string

to fix that set the graphics to ultra and then go down and set everything to what you want

after that every time you boot the game you just gotta go to graphics and swap from custom to ultra then back to custom and it should fix what you're talking about :)

So you get the rewards for individual tasks automatically, but after completing them all you can go into the tasks menu and claim the extra reward, it's 1000 for weeklys and 250 for dailys
